“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

FWIW, coming from a non-solo perspective, we found it more awkward when seated with a party of 3 vs another time we were seated with 2 solos!

As you might expect there weren't that many solo Guests but it wasn't that uncommon. It's rare to have a table sharing issue but whenever I noticed it I would speak to the Guest privately and ask if they wanted me to check for an empty table or if they wanted a high boy table with no chairs. I wouldn't give it any thought, it'll work out.

Thank you both . I feel better now and looking forward to it - stress free .

How did you get FEA dessert party tickets if they haven’t gone on sale???

There are likely to be several private businesses that hold events for the last showing. It’s one of the reasons I don’t think there will be an FEA. There’s one I’m stalking that hasn’t released tickets yet. Fingers crossed.

That will certainly be the case but that's the case on most nights. On many nights all of the party venues are being used.

They can do both private events and the FEA party on the same night. It happens all the time. It'll come down to whether or not Disney wants to make available as much viewing area as possible to day Guests. I don't think it'll be a choice between a private party and the FEA party. They charge about the same for both.

I'm so excited! I had to come and share! I was FINALLY able to book this!
I am taking my mom to Disney next week (she is 70, and hasn't been since I was a kid back in 1984!) but we only started planning in late March, about 45 days out. Of course, this party was sold out when I first tried to book, but I've been checking many, many times every day--and just now, I got it! I'm so excited! Persistence pays off!

Now to decide if I should tell my mom now, or wait and surprise her? :)

We had a change of plans and I had to cancel our reservation this morning. I was bummed about it so I'm going to pretend you got the one I just cancelled (please don't tell me the date you got). Seeing how happy you were to get a reservation makes me feel better. :)

I'm sorry you had to cancel. :(

For the first time, our dessert party was moved indoors Sunday night. It wasn’t raining then, but it was pouring when they had to start set up.

I’ve read a lot of reports about how disappointing the experience is indoors, but honestly, I preferred it. We had huge tables with lots of room with air conditioning and while we did have to stand to watch, I wasn’t stretching my neck to see over the fence and much preferred standing. So don’t be too disappointed if it happens, it’s not bad at all!

I will admit that the fact that I was within arms reach of the bar didn’t hurt!!

We did this party in April and ours was moved indoors. I fit in the disappointed group. It made things disjointed.

The indoor version is still enjoyable for most people, however for those looking for the optimal party ambiance, the lagoon-side setting on a nice night is hard to beat. The other drawback is that the indoor party is actually substantially shorter because it has to end early so as to allow time to escort Guests to the viewing area in time for Illuminations. The outdoor party continues uninterrupted until Illuminations ends.

On the other hand if someone has been in the park during a hot Florida day, the AC at the indoor party is certainly welcome. And if you're as fortunate as Cakebaker was and are within an arms reach of the bar, well that's a win, win. If I were attending as a Guest and had my heart set on the outdoor version but was visiting either during the rainy season or winter, I'd book the party and keep a close eye on the forecast two days before the party so that I could cancel on the day before.

I was just incredibly grateful it wasn't raining during Illuminations. It was a beautiful night, but the rain was awful all afternoon. I wasn't surprised at all that they had moved it indoors, and in a weird way, kind of glad I experienced the indoor version before....the.....end. lol

Just booked a pkg for reserved viewing with WDWNT for the final and new show. It’s pricey, but includes a few perks we love- a session with imagineers the day before etc. Best thing is I don’t have to stalk and hope the FEA party is held that night.

Question for those in the know -

July 4th wasn't coming up for the longest time. Then I saw it, but only when I pretended I was in the US (I'm in Canada). Obviously I should have booked it immediately but alas, I did not. By the time the next day it showed up on the Canadian site it was fully booked.

Since then I have been refreshing about 50 times a day (thank goodness for browser tabs) and have scored one ticket. Still trying for one more. Most times I assume the vast majority of people who are not dis people or fanatic planners do not hit things that soon. All the days around it are still open. Do you think a big party booked all of the seats together or is it just that popular?

And how likely is it that I'm going to still score one more? It's a long time till the party and my refresh finger is very muscular and wily so I will keep trying... but arg. :crazy2:

I really have no idea, but if it were me, I would keep checking. I was on right when they started to drop and I did pick up four tickets for July 4th. I checked it a couple of times in the hour or two after that and I did still see availability for the 4th but after that it was gone while the other dates still showed availability. My guess is it is just that popular for that date. Good luck. I hope you get it.

My guess is it is just that popular for that date.
Due to space constraints, this version is nearly half the size of the previous version. It's also much smaller than the the MK and SW parties so there are a lot fewer spots to sell, it sells out most nights. It's very popular to begin with and on holidays it sells out even quicker.
