We have reservations tomorrow night, praying the weather cooperates! Can anyone who attended this week review the food/experience? (Of course taking into consideration the party was moved indoors.)

Right now it doesn't look like that it will. All outdoor special events have been moved indoors so far this week, I think tomorrow will be the same.

The video I posted pretty much shows everything at the food portion of the party.

What happens after the fireworks? Do you get escorted to the ride? How many times did you get to ride? Did you get any special gifts- like the chewey mug at the SW one?

We are booked for Oct but considering cancelling as it's a lot extra for a family. My daughter loves frozen so on the fence

Yes
How many times did you get to ride?
You're assured one ride as long as it's operating. I don't know if it's possible to ride a second time. Maybe DaisyJ can shed some light on that as she asked the same question.

No, unless you consider Mickey Vision type glasses a gift.

The indoor version is not heavily themed. The outdoor version has slightly more Frozen theming. If you have little ones that are fans, I suggest doing the meet and greet before the party to get them in the mood.

Ok I am on my ipad, so it will be brief. I can type more tomorrow evening after we get home.

Two things to keep in mind...I only paid for one person and I have never seen the movie Frozen, nor ridden FEA.

We got a phone call about 5:20 telling us the event was moved indoors and would take place at the Norway pavilion. We were told to report at 7, but we could have waited until 7:45 or so to show up. @FastPasser. might hurt me, but I actually liked it inside. It was cool, no bugs, bathrooms were right there, it was private and I felt like it was something special because we got to go backstage. I imagine it is much easier for the event staff as well, since the kitchen is right there to restock food and dishes, drinks, etc.

The tables were set up exactly like in the video and the entire team of CM's were great. I didn't try everything, but what I had was good. I loved the fondue. :p We did share a table with a truly delightful family from Trinidad who had an adorable daughter close to my nieces age. We stood by them during the fireworks and rode the ride with them.

We were led to the fireworks viewing area, watched the fireworks in a roped off area and were then led back to the ride, I believe through the fp lane. Riding with two 9 year old girls totally made the ride for me. Their delight made my heart happy (or maybe that was the three drinks I had during the party). :rotfl:We did only ride once and did not ask about a second time through.

Overall, I felt it was worth it, but again, I only paid for one person. If I was paying for a family, I would probably weigh the cost a bit more.

Hurting guests is highly frowned upon by Disney.

Having it indoors does have it's advantages. The reason Disney and I prefer it outdoors is that we feel that it's a better guest experience. But your points are valid and some guests would agree.

Yes there is. Guests will receive a Frozen FP to use within the next few days. A ride on Soarin that night if there is advance notice that Frozen is down. If guests are not returning to Epcot, Guest Relations will work something out with them.

We're doing it our last night. IllumiNations has always been my daughter's favorite show, so this will make a special ending to our first mother-daughter only trip. If FEA is down, there may be a few tears just because emotions are running high (we're also taking the trip when we are because I'm leaving my last "baby" at college just before we go). Heck, there may be a few tears anyway. :) But I've booked for the overall experience and don't expect anything else if we don't get to ride. We've never ridden FEA, so I've made sure to plan a FP for it earlier in the trip.

Thanks, we are on our way, looking forward to the party, inside or out.

Thank you. For us, the party is more about the reserved less crowded space to watch Illuminations with our little ones. Its the only evening entertainment we are seeing during our trip. Thanks to a commercial on Disney Jr. my 3 year old is begging to go to a tea party while at Disney World.:rolleyes2:sad2: We maybe telling her that this is Anna and Elsa's special tea party. :rolleyes1

I actually doubt that we make it to the ride portion of the event. The question was more out of curiosity.

Are you one of the people in the video?
No, I'm better looking than those two knuckleheads. Just kidding, I'm twice their age. They're good guys. The interesting thing is that the guy on the right has an identical twin, and I mean identical twin. They usually work the same event and no one can tell them apart if it weren't for the name tags.
