“Frozen Ever After Dessert Party” with Fireworks Viewing and After-Close Attraction Ride

Well that qualifies as tasty. Is the misty look at that station just for effect then? I was hoping it was another flash frozen dessert, but salted caramel popcorn sounds good, too. Thanks for the info!

No it's real. It's flash frozen salted caramel popcorn. The mist is caused by the flash freezing process I guess.

Yes, pre-assigned tables of five, however the outdoor tables are much smaller.

Dang, probably a deal breaker for me. I don't like strangers watching me eat at an AYCTE event or becoming aware of how many times I'm getting up and down to refresh drinks.

There were people there last night, it was sold out. I'm not able to give you a review, but it did take place. Unfortunately, like the other outdoor special events held last night, it was moved indoors to the second floor inside the Norway pavilion where the dessert portion of the party took place. About 15 minutes before Illuminations, guests are escorted to the private Illuminations viewing area and then escorted back to experience the FEA attraction. Hopefully it'll take place at the normal outdoor location tomorrow night.

Hmmm. I'm still excited about this, but I'm really hoping the weather holds off on the night we are doing it (10/16). I loved the placement of the Illuminations party, and I'm guessing that this one will "work" much better outside too. It seems a little awkward in that space.

Also, TBH the dessert selection seems a little underwhelming and broccoli (??!??!) as the veggie choice for the fondue seems really odd. That said, I will withhold judgment until some (outside) reviews come in, and I am still excited by the prospect of this.

Fingers crossed that the weather forecast holds up. If it does, tonight's party will be the first bookable FEA dessert party taking place at the designed location, Mexico Vista.

Hope this is an option for the trip I'm planning for April 2018. We haven't done the EP fireworks yet - last time we were at WDW DD was too young and didn't like loud noises so we went to bed early and skipped the nightshows other than Fantasmic which bored us all to tears and was a big let down given all the waiting and crowds in/out. Now she's totally into fireworks after we saw some this past summer @ a soccer game.

is it that hard to get a decent viewing location on your own since WS is so big or is reserved viewing a big benefit?

I penciled in the star wars dessert party because that seemed like it was harder to get good viewing and maybe DD will watch some of the movies by then.

I can't eat much at these parties since I can't eat gluten so the $ would really be toward that prime viewing location (And for DD8 who loves everything Frozen, getting to go on FEA again would be a bonus for her and she'd like all the Frozen dessert theming).

I'm thinking stronger language than that. I felt that the party should have taken place outside, but being just one of the minions, what I thought didn't mean much. I was right though, it could have taken place outside.

So the party has yet to be held lagoon side, where it was meant to take place. The next party is on Friday, will it or won't it be outside?

It was great meeting you and your family members, hope they enjoyed it anyway.
