“Fantasmic!” Dining Packages Returning 11/30!! *Updated with Locations & Prices*

If we have 4 adults and one two year old, do I make a reservation for four or five. In the past people have stated that there was no room for the child at their table of four. Is there anyone who have had experiences with toddlers?

You always need to include infants, even if they don’t eat/pay in ADRs

Thanks. That’s what I thought. At one time (Candlelight Processional Package) they billed your CC when you booked the package

For what day? I couldn't get a Garden Grill for 2 or 3 for lunch on Nov 30... any chance that is the date you have as a back up?

This is an older map from preCOVID that might help visualize in this post.

Mobility devices park all along the top of the theater. My guess is if you don't arrive early and there are too many you might end up in another section from Dining anyway.
So, if we book dining package we would. be in the red mobility section? Or would we have to be early anyway? Just trying to decide if the dining package is worthwhile or not (ie saving waiting time)
Thank you very much, the map does help.

does anyone have experience entering fantasmic without dining package? We have never experienced before. Have 1 day in December at HS and am thinking it might be worth it to do the dining package. I have younger kids so I don't know how long you normally wait to get in on standby.

Any help would be appreciated!

IF they handle seating at Fantasmic now like they used to .... that is the dining area. Problem is if there are more folks buying the dining package that need mobility seats they will begin moving folks to other sections. So yes, I do believe you will still need to be early ... so I would make sure you don't book a time too close to Fantasmic time.

Once we booked a dinner time that by time we finished we had to go straight to the theater as we were the earlier show time. The next time I booked lunch so that we feel less pressure. I feel like if you aren't guaranteed mobility seating in the red if you buy package, and your one guest won't even eat most the meal, perhaps an investment in Genie+ or ILL for Fantasmic might be a better value.

But of course we won't know for a couple weeks how they are handling any of this. Personally I think they should sell a section with ILL and then utilize Genie+ for the rest of the old FP+ sections. BUT it seems they have added restaurant options for dining package so maybe they plan to utilize more than red. Just not enough info yet.

There are much more choices now for the dining package. Which leads me to believe that the there will be less standby seating now.

Can we do a fantasmic package for breakfast?
I saw the Hollywood and Vine option in the chart, so I don't see why they would list it under Fantasmic dining packages and then not give you a ticket for the show.

I'll speculate the fantasmic seating chart will be changed. More seating for restaurant packages. Seating for $ILL guests. Standing section, and limited seating for "cheap" guests.

Originally Disney ran Fantasmic twice a night, most nights. I don't think it was even running every night right before Covid.

You book how many heart beats are at your table.

Sci Fi pricing is a bit much ... :crazy2: actually other than H&V these seem to be big jumps.

Feel like the other shoe to drop to support these prices is ILL section for Fantasmic as well at $20. 😆
The prices definitely seem to assume you're ordering the most expensive options on the menu.

I'm actually curious if they're going to do ILL, Genie+, or nothing. They never added reserved Harmonious viewing to Genie+ like they did with FP+.

I think because if you are paying for something you'd likely expect more than jostling for a piece of concrete with some having much better view than others.

With Fantasmic they could dedicate a whole section, seats and good view for everyone. No sharing or pushing for a piece of concrete. Personally I think they would be dumb to not sell ILL for it. It's one place it makes total sense.

Many moons ago the guests were given the regular menu. Each guest had to order an entrée.

Years ago Disney switched to price fixed. My memory is it was a middlish price. Guests who orderd the most expensive entree got a deal.
A few years ago Disney started to price it at or near the most expensive items. Disney gets the deal if a guest orders moderately priced item. Guests who prefer plant based meals overpay by a lot

Pre-covid, I believe they were like regular dining reservations.

I hope to get Sci Fi or 50PT for January 2nd.

I hope that it’s not like the Fort Wilderness Christmas sleigh rides that went on sale this morning. They went quick

It is 5:15 am and I can see the packages loaded and I was even able to choose a time for a couple but then, of course, it glitched and said it was unable to check for times at this time. I'm wondering if they're all gone or have they not truly opened?
