Following! Love reading about your trip. I'm planning to bring my DS1 for his first trip next year (fingers crossed)
and he would be two and a half by then.

I can't say it bothered us too much. We had so much fun with the others one dud was okay.Thats too bad! We had a really good interaction with Prince Charming, but not such a great one with Cinderella.
They really were!! They almost stole the show! The Tremaines are great! I think they kept us laughing for most of our dinner.![]()
Happened to me too! It's just so magical there!
I think you do make rope drop and you do see the welcome show! Or at least part of it.
Many happy tears were shed this night that is for sure!OMG your pics of little Miss with Cinderella were just beautiful...almost made me cry!! Happy tears of course.
So true though...a moment like that can just erase all the crap that led to getting there!!
I believe its doable at least in theory. Whether there is actual availability or not is another question.I agree with you that the GF is so beautiful...I do hope we can find a way to stay there one day...I wonder if renting DVC points is an option...I'm starting to think more about that but it makes me a bit nervous.
I think these were less teenagers and more very young 20 somethings. but it was still a very sweet moment. Also I can't believe that teenagers were that sweet to little miss...I wish ALL teenagers could be sweet like that...my soon to be teen is nuthin' but surly lol and I can't picture him doing anything like that lol.
I'm thinking you make RD...although...EMH RD is gonna come quick after a late night!!
Indeed!Yes, it is reactions and the Awe and wonderment of that little one that made all your planning and things so worth while! Good job Mama!
I loved everything in this segment (well except for not getting any points in the game, lol!)
I say you all make it to rope drop and opening show! (What can I saw...I am OPTOMISTIC!)
Amazing!
It really really is!That video is classic, you should show that to everyone all the time forever!![]()
Girl I'm there dreaming with you!If i hit the lotto i may stay at each Deluxe for a week each, a girl can dream right!![]()
They really do.I think CM and interactions like this really add a little something extra to trips!![]()
That was another favorite thing to see. Little Miss is so outgoing that she often overwhelms other children and adults won't generally say hi back to her. She was in heaven with all the greetings.I love that other guest who maybe (or may) not normally interact with each other do at Disney, its a really special place that brings out the best in most people!![]()
It was such a special moment. I'm glad DH caught it on film.Little Miss is adorable with all the ballroom dancing before dinner! She is so cute! I am really enjoying your TR and again I am excited to follow along!
It really was a magical night!Great update! It was fun looking at your DD's reactions to the characters. I loved how she just lit up with Cinderella. WDW is a magical place, especially when people like the bus driver and the nice college kids who acknowledged Little Miss being royalty. I love that the college kid bowed. So cute!
AwaI know when my own daughter was younger and she was dressed as Cinderella, the bus driver we had announced over the loud speaker on the bus that the people on the bus should be on their best behavior since there was royalty on the bus. He greeted her and made her feel special. She loved the attention!
I was teary the whole time too!Love the dancing video at the GF. Very sweet mommy/daughter moments!(Izzy is also a big fan of spinning
)
Aw, so cute! Cinderella must be really working her magic lately, as we had great meets with her too.![]()
Oh just wait. By the end of the trip it was like releasing the Kracken. The photopass photogs got some great shots.Haha, I understand this - we had several situations back at Aulani that involved cast member restraint of our crying toddler trying to rush characters.
What fun meets you had at dinner! I love the video you got!![]()
Another sweet moment! What a great start to your trip after that rough travel day!
IT really was a blast!Your dinner at 1900 Park Fare sounds like so much fun! The character interaction with Anastasia, Drizella and Lady Tremaine is hilarious!! And that moment Little Miss had with Cinderella...too precious!
It was certainly a favorite of this trip and one we will certainly do again. We've been to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast but never dinner, and now I'm considering it a must do for next time!
We loved it too. I found the recipe to make it at home and I am thinking about making it for a bachlorette thing I'm throwing next month for my best friend.BTW, I am in love with the strawbery soup. It's delicious....I could just drink a whole vat.
What an awesome night filled with so many sweet moments!
I love Little Miss's reaction when she saw Cinderella for the first time. I agree that moment's like that make the whole thing totally worth it!
THey were a blast!Such fun interactions with the step sisters and Lady Tremaine!
And how great that Little Miss got so much extra attention in her dress - sweet moments like that are just so Disney!
And my guess is no for rope drop and opening show...we missed quite a few rope drops that I had been planning on last trip!
Following!
Love reading about your trip.
It really is a great age!I'm planning to bring my DS1 for his first trip next year (fingers crossed)and he would be two and a half by then.
Based on the pictures, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that she enjoyed her first monorail ride...So I last left you as we were getting on the Monorail at Epcot headed to dinner.
That's fine. I never take food pictures. I'm more focused on stuffing my face.I warn you now. DH and I weren’t always great about getting food pictures this trip.
That. Is. Awesome!!!Little Miss is a total fan girl for Cinderella. Her whole body shook and her knees gave out when Little Miss saw her.
Letting Little Miss sit in the easy access spot was totally NOT going to work and to prevent her from charging at Cinderella we had to move her to the booth with DH. Even still he had to physically restrain her a few times.
Little Miss was in love instantly. It was such a sweet Meet and Greet. As she walked away DH and I looked at each other and said, “Our whole trip was worth it for that moment alone.”
I don't know if it is just me or not, but I can't see your videos. Could be the firewall here at work though.Next to the table came Lady Tremaine. We talked a bit about getting Little Miss to do the chores and then she went to sign the autograph book, and well, it’s best to let the video speak for itself.![]()
No kidding! I just hope that her excitement continued through the rest of the trip.If this was how she reacted to Cinderella, we couldn’t WAIT till she met her Favorite characters!
This is when Little Miss got her first glimpse of Cinderella’s castle. Her face lit up in amazement and then said, “ That’s… Mommy is that?... Cinrera’s Castle!” She just couldn’t believe her eyes.
First day, and already you've had so many magical moments! The bus we ended up grabbing back wasn’t that crowded and as we were getting on the bus driver looked at Little Miss and said, “Hello Princess!” and Little Miss just beamed! She loved all the people calling out to her and greeting her and calling her princess. As we were getting off the bus the bus driver pulled out a box of rings plastic rings and gave one to Little Miss. She gave the biggest smile and showed that thing off!
And they just continue!Unfortunately they didn’t have any but we were able to grab some milk and oj and while we were checking out a cm saw Little Miss and her Ring and said that she needed a necklace to go with it and gave her some mardi gras beads. She LOVED This!!!
And even the other guests are getting in on the action!!! Wow! Definitely a great first evening. Totally makes up for the difficult ride.On our way back to the room we passed a group of college age kids and one of the guys saw Little Miss and made a big show of exclaiming that they were passing royalty and as we passed gave Little Miss a dramatic bow and said “Good evening your majesty!” It really was too cute for words!
I'm going to sadly say no. But based on prior comments about the bus service. I don't think it will be because you guys aren't up and ready.~Do we make Rope Drop the next morning and if so Do we get to see the welcome show?
Gee what gave you that idea?Based on the pictures, I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that she enjoyed her first monorail ride...![]()
By the time you get everyone settled at the table most times its just too hectic to get a picture. I did get a few though. no promises that they were great though. That's fine. I never take food pictures. I'm more focused on stuffing my face.
It was really too cute for words.That. Is. Awesome!!!
Especially after all the roadblocks to our plans throughout the day.I'm glad she was so excited. That had to feel great to see that!
It was also a bit of stress relief. It didn't matter if all our plans failed after this. Getting to see her eyes light up with the magic was worth it all.Totally!!!!
Hmmm, I don't do anything special. Disboards changes youtube links into imbeded videos. Maybe try right clicking and selecting open link in a new tab?I don't know if it is just me or not, but I can't see your videos. Could be the firewall here at work though.
You'll see.No kidding! I just hope that her excitement continued through the rest of the trip.
It was so sweet, the fact that she had to ask me if she was really seeing what she thought she was seeing. Total magic!Always a great moment!
First day, and already you've had so many magical moments!
And so did the tears I assure you!And they just continue!
Pretty much what DH and I were thinking! And even the other guests are getting in on the action!!! Wow! Definitely a great first evening. Totally makes up for the difficult ride.
I'm going to sadly say no. But based on prior comments about the bus service. I don't think it will be because you guys aren't up and ready.
Youtube... it's definitely me then. I think our firewall blocks youtube.Disboards changes youtube links into imbeded videos.
For little miss it was her first Monorail EVER!!Ahh...first monorail ride of the trip - nothing like it!!!
Not sure how accurate it is... I lost track of it pretty quickly!I love your happy cry countI always think I'm going to cry the most on the first day by default but...no the happy tears go on every day for the whole trip...
The song that was playing was indeed fitting and special for an array of reasons. That video of your and your daughter dancing is absolutely precious! And is that "You Make Me Feel So Young" playing? Even more perfect!
It really really was!Ohmygosh I loved that Lady Tremaine interactionJust amazing!
The Magic of Disney tends to do that doesn't it?You guys are having SO many awesome moments and it's just night one! I had a sneaking suspicion that your rough morning would all but disappear after you arrived![]()
Just a quick note to ask that you please keep my family in your prayers this week. We've gotten some news that is worrying and the potential to be very sad.![]()
And for those keeping track my happy cry count for the day was currently at about 5 or 6
Awww - that is so cute! I still remember the first time Willow met Cinderella (Willow was 3).1) Little Miss is a total fan girl for Cinderella. Her whole body shook and her knees gave out when Little Miss saw her.
2) Letting Little Miss sit in the easy access spot was totally NOT going to work and to prevent her from charging at Cinderella we had to move her to the booth with DH. Even still he had to physically restrain her a few times.
The cuteness!
And if I’m honest he was kind of a dud.
Riveting! All he talked about was how he liked the color red.
Hilarious! I love when the Step Family is in full swing - they are so funny! When Drizella came to the table and picked up the book to sign it she saw the picture of her and Anastasia next to their sign spots. Well, Drizella decided that Anastasia’s picture had something missing. She then proceeded to draw on glasses, a mustache and chin hair. She had our table and the tables near us cackling with her commentary as she did this. We all loved it.
It really was a great start to the trip! I'm so glad for you.t was the perfect way to start off our trip and it made DH and I excited for future Meet and Greets.
All the CM interactions were great, but I LOVE when another guest does something like this - I can't really imagine anywhere else where something like this would happen. So fun!On our way back to the room we passed a group of college age kids and one of the guys saw Little Miss and made a big show of exclaiming that they were passing royalty and as we passed gave Little Miss a dramatic bow and said “Good evening your majesty!” It really was too cute for words!
I'm so sorry - I hope everything is okay. Your family will be in my thoughts.Just a quick note to ask that you please keep my family in your prayers this week. We've gotten some news that is worrying and the potential to be very sad.![]()
