“Dreams Come True Momma!” A 2 year old’s first trip ~ May 2015~Complete {NEW TR LINK!}

Wow what a wonderful evening your family had at 1900 Park fare!! And to have so many happy crys and it's only your first day!!! When you both said " Our whole trip was worth it for that moment alone" This is why I love to go to WDW, you make such lasting memories!!! I can't wait to take my niece to WDW to be a princess: For a week like your little princess:!! Ps We have a while to wait she is only 3months old :guilty:.

Just a quick note to ask that you please keep my family in your prayers this week. We've gotten some news that is worrying and the potential to be very sad. :(

Note.... If you have followed over from facebook and know me and my family personally, please respect the fact that this news has NOT gone on Facebook for a reason and LET THE FAMILY CONTACT YOU. We don't want to overwhelm the situation. Too many cooks in the kitchen would be the opposite of help right now and there are a lot of people involved as it is. Even I am keeping distance.
My thoughts, prayers and hugs are sent your way.....

Thank you much for all the thoughts prayers and support. They are much needed right now.

This is turning out to be a week from Hell. It started off this weekend where DH ended up with a sinus infection after a rather nasty cold. My house is a complete and total disaster zone that there are so many layers to the mess that there is literally not a single surface in my kitchen free of crap. Little Miss's play areas are so cluttered it's almost impossible to walk. I still haven't gotten a handle on the laundry from the trip. It now appears that both little Miss and I are now coming down with the cold DH had. Got a text from my mother late last night. Hospice is now getting involved. So now I have to come to terms with the Grandmother that helped to raise me passing.
(Reminder to family friends, DON'T CALL US WE WILL CALL YOU!) And just how the hell do you explain that kinda thing to a nearly 3 year old?!?!?!? Oh did I mention that on top of all this I have been dealing with the period from hell that is so strong its reminiscent of Childbirth? For a moment or two I had to consider weather it was possible that this was a miscarriage of an unknown pregnancy. (Doubtful but hasn't been ruled out.)

All I can say Thank God I have a lunch scheduled with one of my best friends. I think a day of letting Little Miss run around a park while I talk with a best friend is just what I need today.

Sorry Explosion over. I just had to get that out there somewhere and I'm still not allowed to talk about it on Facebook yet.

I'm so sorry you are having a rough time this week. I can't imagine how hard that will be with your DD and all that you are going through. I hope your lunch is a bright spot in all this. Try not to worry about your DD, kids are very resilient and I'm sure she will be sad, but she will be ok. Focus on taking some time for yourself and taking care of you. Don't worry about the mess...that will be there whenever you have time to deal with it...deep breaths.

Not fun.

Yeah. That's usually how it goes.
Sucks. But that's the way it is.

So now I have to come to terms with the Grandmother that helped to raise me passing.

So sorry to hear about that.

Of course I wouldn't know about that, but I do know someone who was basically bed ridden for years during hers until she finally either got to the point where they eased off a bit or got better medication.

Hang in there!

Prayers being sent your way.
:thanks:

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
:thanks:

What a great way to end your day.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your meal at 1900 (we've only done breakfast, never dinner). I love the stepsisters and hope to go for dinner one day soon.
I really did love that dinner. It will be one we repeat for sure!

Little Miss' reaction when she sees Cinderella is priceless as is her seeing the castle for the first time.
::yes:: Cherished magical memories for sure.

Prayers from here too. Hope you are ok.

:goodvibes Disney is just so amazing with a little one.
It really really is!

Awww - that is so cute! I still remember the first time Willow met Cinderella (Willow was 3).
:lovestruc

The cuteness!
::yes:: Its almost too much to handle right? :cutie:

:rotfl2: I guess he wasn't getting by on his personality there!
Nope!

Riveting! :faint:
Isn't it though?

Hilarious! I love when the Step Family is in full swing - they are so funny!
::yes::

It really was a great start to the trip! I'm so glad for you.
Couldn't have asked for better!

All the CM interactions were great, but I LOVE when another guest does something like this - I can't really imagine anywhere else where something like this would happen. So fun!
I have a hunch that this particular bunch of college kids were CPs or CMs heading to Yeehaw bob for a night out.

I'm so sorry - I hope everything is okay. Your family will be in my thoughts.
:thanks:

I'm going to try. :thanks:

:sad2:

Yeah. That's usually how it goes.
Sucks. But that's the way it is.
Sad but true. Can't say I'm surprised.

So sorry to hear about that.
:thanks: She has had dementia for a while now and has really started deteriorating fast as of late. In a way this stroke is a blessing so that she can go peacefully in her sleep. Her moments of cognitive clarity have been fewer and farther between as of late and her mental capabilities have reduced down to Little Miss's level. I'm just finding out that knowing that its coming doesn't actually soften the blow when it finally hits.

Of course I wouldn't know about that, but I do know someone who was basically bed ridden for years during hers until she finally either got to the point where they eased off a bit or got better medication.
:faint: I couldn't imagine.

Hang in there!
I'll certainly try :thanks:

I'm sorry. It sounds like you're really going through a crap storm right now. We'll be keeping your family in mind and we're here anytime you just need to vent.

I doubt that it ever is an easy thing.

I'm so sorry about your week so far! I really hope things start getting better soon.

And just how the hell do you explain that kinda thing to a nearly 3 year old?!?!?!?

I don't have any kids, but any time someone had died in my family, my mom was very straight-forward with me about it. I think if your daughter sees you sad (like anytime I saw my mom sad when I was little) she might want to cheer you up. Just make sure you let her know that it's okay to be sad at times like this and that it's healthy to express it!

Just hang in there, you'll get through this!

So sorry to hear about this, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family right now

Getting back to you TR for a moment... and maybe this will help cheer you up. I'm not sure which warmed my heart more in your 1900 Park update: your smiles or Little Miss's :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

My thoughts are with you and your family. There is no way to explain these things to a child, but just be thankful that your daughter got to know your Grandmother and will forever get to know her more through your stories, no matter what happens.

Clearly you have a lot going on so it sounds like tomorrow is just what you need. That, and for a little bit of levity, some more of that Lady Tremaine video. Just put it on continuous loop and try and smile.

I'm so sorry your having a really hard week. It's so hard to see someone you love so much deteriorate in front of us. Getting together with your best friend is what you needed today. With all you have been dealing with it's no wonder your house is a little untidy. It will eventually get done, I would just focus on your family now, they need you now. My thoughts and prayers are with you threw this difficult time. We are always here if you need to just vent...

So sorry to hear about everything going on, especially the news about your grandmother. I am sure the last thing you want to deal with now is laundry!

Definitely sending up some prayers!

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. This is never an easy thing...having dealt with it recently with my mom. Sending hugs and prayers.

So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Prayers and Pixie Dust heading your way. {{HUGS}}

Lynn

Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. I just went through a similar situation with my grandmother last year and it was awful.

Loved your Park Fare update, I really need to get over there someday! Little Miss is just the cutest, I loved all of her pictures with Cinderella, so cute! :lovestruc
