I am doing better today after having a nice talk with a very good friend last night. She helped me to remember and focus on one bright spot in the miscarriage. That is that I got pregnant in the first place without the use of fertility drugs to help. It gives me hope that future pregnancies might not be so hard to achieve as it was for Little Miss. And realistically speaking, taking my fertility issues out of the equation, the extreme high stress situation I was under at the time would have been enough to trigger a miscarriage in anyone. But enough of the hard stuff. Lets fill my page with Happy so that I can escape into your comments after the service tomorrow.

Part of Her World



After leaving IASW, we picked up our stroller and thankfully found ourselves back on schedule. We picked up our stroller from the Tangled Tinkle Spot (“Punzel’s Castle Mommy! Look! Right there!”) and saw that Frontierland was getting ready to rope drop and headed on our way.


We made it over to New Fantasyland and parked our stroller near the exit for Enchanted Tales. We had fps for later and leaving the stroller there would be easiest. On our way to our ride we saw a photopass guy out in front of Be Our Guest. I had been hoping for the Chip magic shot so had us stop for pictures.

Having gotten our pictures we moved on. Soon we found our way to Ariel’s Ride and found that it was pretty much walk on.

After our super fun swim Under the Sea we kept the Ariel theme going and hopped over to the Meet and Greet area.


I have to say, the queue for the meet and greet is wonderfully themed. While not in the a/c the caverns that they have you go through not only really give off the feeling of undersea caves but it also gives plenty of shade and actually keeps things rather cool.


Before too long we found ourselves in to see Ariel.

To say that our Ariel meet went well might be a tad bit of an understatement!


I just about melted when Little Miss told Ariel that her name was Ariel. (It’s not) Little Miss was just star struck and just LOVED Ariel. And Its safe to say that Ariel (and everyone else around us) just Loved Little Miss as well. It ended up tying for our Favorite meet of the trip.

Your little girl is so precious! I have to say seeing Ariel I am jealous of her outfit! I keep staring at the workmanship in her tail, she's quite beautiful! So sorry about tomorrow but the great thing is that you seem to have the proper support. Also having an outlet here to relive happy memories seems to help at least a little.

Oh no. I'm so sorry. That must be really hard and the timing is terrible. Rough week I'm sure. I hope you can get through it as smoothly as possible and your little one will provide some joy and respite from the hard stuff.

I'm pretty sure that the timing of the Miscarriage actually was pretty directly connected to everything else. Add my bodies struggle to produce the needed progesterone with the extreme stress I was going through at the time and it's no wonder it happened.

I'm really sorry for the rough week you're having. DW had a miscarriage before we had DS and she had a really hard time with it. Better days will come, and just take some comfort in the fact that you have Little Miss to bring you joy

You know... at least in those moments when she's not having a meltdown in the parking lot.

First, I am sorry for your loss. It is so hard to find out that you are pregnant and losing it at the same time. I have been there. I understand the pain. I am glad to hear that at least you have some comfort in knowing that you can get pregnant again.

I also understand the full out tantrum. My (now 21 year old) son only had a few of these in his toddler years, but I clearly remember having to leave the grocery store when I had a cart full of food because he was having a melt down. I'm talking the have to put him on my hip with his back to me because his arms and legs are flailing and he is screaming at the top of his lungs. Hang in there. It really does get better (at least until the teenage years, lol!)

The cake is beautiful! I am sure you were able to get it back together and everyone enjoyed it!

OH MY GOSH!!! The Ariel meet and greet pictures are absolutely STUNNING! They really tell the story of their interaction. You can see how much she ADORES Ariel! And you can see that they are having a conversation that she is completely engrossed in. How SPECTACULAR!!!

I can't wait to see more!

And oh my, I am tied for first place!!!

And my guesses are, you went to Enchanted Tales with Belle and had a LeFrou's Brew at Gaston's (my second choice snack would be the cupcake parfaits in that area)
