“Dreams Come True Momma!” A 2 year old’s first trip ~ May 2015~Complete {NEW TR LINK!}

I have fallen super far behind on your TR! But I have just caught up! Firstly I am so sorry for your loss.
You all just look so super happy in all your photos! Its so nice to see such joy in your faces!
Your DD is adorable! I'm glad she enjoyed IASW, that was my faviourate ride when I was her age!

***Bonus Question***

Do we stop again for Photopass before our next ride?

What area do our next Photopass Pictures come from?

Are magic shots involved?

Okay I am awful at guessing things like this but I'm going to say that yes you stopped for Photopass, outside BOG/Gastons and yes there was a Magic Shot with Chip??

Just found another shot from our Main Street Photos that got skipped over in the upload to Photobucket... This was Little Miss's first experience with a Magic Shot and was still getting the hang of it.

This is so cute! She did soooo much better than I did with the magic shots! :rotfl:

LIFE UPDATE:

So I got to experince our first knockout full blown strangers stopping and staring and asking if they can help parking lot temper tantrum this after noon. While out picking up balloons for Little MIss's bday party tomorrow. (She wanted to hold her balloons and wouldn't get in her seat. and in the struggle set one free. :headache:) so that was fun... :crazy2:

She had requested a pink minnie mouse cake. Well first I was out of Pink dye and now it would seem that the Mickey and Minnie Figurines from Disney store won't stand on their own.

Luckily I got a back up set because Little MIss kept changing her mind on what she wanted anyways. and I got a Princess set as well. After fiddling around and some pintrest inspiration I think I am going to be able to pull off this:

We'll see how this goes. I'll be sure to post pictures of the finished product.

Sorry about the incident in the parking lot. The new idea for Rapunzel's tower looks like it should work out well! Good luck!

What Andy said. Sorry to hear about the parking lot scene but that cake looks like it's shaping up well!

Oh no...gotta love those public meltdowns!! They are so awful when you are living them...but can be funny later. Sometimes...If I could avoid losing my temper...when my kids did stuff like that...I'd try to take a picture....it actually worked a couple times if they could stop losing their minds long enough to question what I was doing lol. But...in a crowded parking lot...maybe notsomuch...glad you recovered!!

I have to come out of lurkdom to say I have been there with the public meltdowns. I had to physically pull my 8-year old son out of the pool during swim lessons not too long ago because he got out of the pool so he could jump in backwards. On his sister's head. The biting and readjusting and kicking and screaming were awesome to experience. On the plus side, I kept my cool and didn't start screaming (even though I wanted to!). And someone was nice enough to help me get to the changing room when the lesson was over. I feel your pain, is what I'm trying to say!

And Done! For all that I have had to deal with this week and considering that this idea was more like plan E or F than plan A I am dang proud of how this turned out! I just hope that the 20 or so toothpicks hold I'm gonna be a little devastated if it falls.

Little Miss seems over the moon about it though.

As for the melt down, She cried herself to sleep in her room and I left her there till Daddy got home and she seems to be better now. While part of me feels bad for my reaction to her tantrum with all the added stress on me for the past few weeks on top of planning a 3 year olds party I'm kinda amazed I didn't snap before now.

I love the pictures of little miss on Main Street. It's a small world really does something for the little ones, my 5 year old asked me constantly to go on it :faint:. That cake looks awesome! Good job I wish I was as good in the bakery department, my little one is getting store bought for his birthday on Monday :rolleyes1. Sorry about the meltdown I feel your pain but hey on the bright side you made it almost three years before experiencing it :thumbsup2.

Wow your cake came out so... Beautiful!! You did a great job, and should be proud!! I wish I had just an ounce of creativity, it's so special and a wonderful memory to take the time to make your daughters birthday cake. I had an aunt that always made my birthday cakes when I was little, I have these special memories now. As your daughter will have too!! Have a great time tomorrow with beautiful Little Miss!!!

Might be getting in a little late but your playlist looks great! That Nick Pitera (you have one of his videos listed) has a lot of Disney themed on his channel, one of the best ones is "One Man Disney Movie." If you haven't seen it yet, it's a medley of songs from a variety of Disney movies with him doing all the parts.

That cake looks great!

Sorry about the meltdown in the parking lot. Whenever I see a mom in a situation with a child I never judge because they happen to the best of moms. I smile hoping the mom who looks at me in desperation that my smile means we can all relate.
Your cake is super cute. Hope she had "the best day ever".
