“Dreams Come True Momma!” A 2 year old’s first trip ~ May 2015~Complete {NEW TR LINK!}

Love all the photopass pictures. That is better than Peter Pan any day of the week ; ). And small world is the perfect first ride.

Great family photos of you three!!!
:thanks:

t's amazing how much a little one changes how you vacation and the things that you pay attention to :goodvibes:goodvibes
Isn't it though! You wouldn't think that something so small would make such a huge difference.

Love the shots you got while heading down Main Street!
They are some of my favorite!

And good call on skipping that long Peter Pan line at that point - I hope you got back later.
I wasn't going to stand in a line that long. :sad2: Not at Rope Drop!

Funny how that ride is so special to all toddlers. Definitely makes it a must-do for us now. So much joy on their little faces! Glad you got to experience that with Little Miss to start off your time at MK. :goodvibes
I know right! She just Loved it!

Indeed!

Over the past week one thing has been made PAINFULLY clear to me..... There is nothing like a death in the family to cause Drama Llamas and Tension of Epic proportions.... Especially when the family member in charge of everything is handling things like an angry sleep deprived two year old who is acting like he is the only one grieving (among other things). I won't vent further. I just need to work some more on my TR and focus on the happy things for a while or I shall never get to sleep. I just need some carefree brainless happy right about now. I swear I have gotten so much written this week on the trip report that I am set for the next two months of updates. At least I am getting everything down while it's still fresh.
So sorry to hear this. I hope that things calm down and everyone can behave more civil going forward soon.

We also stopped at a few open Photopass photographers as well.
Fantastic pictures.

So how did it go? I have to say that I enjoyed our cruise around the world more viewing through the eyes of little miss than I had before. DH even enjoyed her enjoyment!
I feel the same way. IASW has always been a ride that I feel like we need to do once a trip just because of what it is and what it represents. I mean it is classic Disney. But that song really does just stick...

But since we've had the kids with us, we ride it a few times each trip. They love it and I enjoy riding it with them and seeing their excitement.

Do we stop again for Photopass before our next ride?

What area do our next Photopass Pictures come from?

Are magic shots involved?
Yes

Outside BOG/Gaston's Tavern

Yes - Lumiere

Just more wrong answers so I can look like an idiot later.

Tardy to the party, but joining in!

I'm so sorry about the loss of your grandmother.

Your daughter is precious and most of the photos you've posted are just priceless!

That's crazy that it took you over two hours to get the Grand Floridian! We had bus issues the only time we ever stayed at POR. I thought POR was beautiful, but we will probably never stay there again. We never had those problems in POFQ and have had better luck with the buses in the Values!

I think IASW is a perfect first ride for a little princess.

I'll play along. Yes, you stop for a Photopass. I'll guess near the carousel and and a magic shot is involved.

Thank you! I really love how many wonderful shots I got this trip.

DH and I had been thinking that POFQ wouldn't be as bad. We are considering it for our next trip.

It really worked out well that way.

Just found another shot from our Main Street Photos that got skipped over in the upload to Photobucket... This was Little Miss's first experience with a Magic Shot and was still getting the hang of it.

How does that work? I mean - does the PP photog just tell you what pose to do? And then you don't see it with the overlay image until they send you the pics, right?

I love the photo with your whole family and Mickey. What makes it so cute is that Little Miss has her head turned and just watching Mickey! You can tell she was enthralled with him! It makes it the perfect first family photo with Mickey!

Since no one else has picked it, I will pick Winnie the Pooh as your first ride.
I love that picture too!! I thought that same thing, little miss was in awe looking up at Mickey! :lovestruc

You'll see the "Magic" when you look at your Photopass Pictures on the website after they are taken.

Gracefulskinny, sorry for all you're dealing with family drama. I find when a loved one is ill or dies they sometimes respond the opposite of what you would expect. Illness or a death of a loved one sometimes brings out the worst in people. I would just limit my time with them, your emotionally drained as it is now. You don't need any more stress added to your life now.

Thank you. It does indeed. Unfortunately this person's actions have a trickle effect. I am however doing my best to focus on the positive and not allow that stress to get to me. It helps that I am insanely busy this week getting invites in the mail for my best friends bachelorette party and prepping the house for Little Miss's birthday party this weekend.

She did a great job with that magic shot!
She did indeed!

It's good you are too busy to deal with your extended family drama. Yay little misses birthday! What theme did she pick Disney? :rotfl:Have a great time at your friends bachelorette party, and enjoy little misses party!!!

Hello! :wave2: I just found your trip report and definitely want to follow along. My deepest condolences to you and your family for your loss.

I had a good chuckle reading about the car sickness because my DH and I would have reacted the exact same way. Save the blankie and stuffy! We have the very same carseat as you and it is not easy to clean. The steel frame makes it a beast to maneuver! Bless you for handling all that and keeping your positive attitude!

Love your pictures. Your DD's excitement for everything is awesome. Looking forward to reading about your magical trip. We are heading back in October and my youngest DD will be almost 3. It will be neat to see what worked and didn't work for you all. :flower1:

I'm doing good just to get a party together at all. With everything that has been going on the house is a bit of a disaster. So there is TONS to do before saturday. Including getting 22 invitations {For the Bachlorette party} addressed and in the mail by Friday. But she did pick Minnie Mouse as the theme for her Birthday cake. Of course she went back and forth between Princesses, Cinderella, and Mickey MOuse first.

FYI on that regard. The Figurines at the Disney store are great for cake toppers.

What a cute magic shot! Very cool with her shades and everything!
:thanks:

DH is the Car Seat King. At least the covers come off and wash well.

Bless you for handling all that and keeping your positive attitude!
It wasn't easy. Especially that second round while standing in a hot parking lot 20 minutes away from where we want to be.

Love your pictures.
:thanks: I definitely got some good ones this trip.

Your DD's excitement for everything is awesome.
Its how she goes through life and it's a true blessing. Her excitement is contagious I tell ya.

I'll say this now, the one thing we were most grateful for ended up being that Stroller Locator. Many parents ended up jealous and wishing they had done something similar.
