Greetings fellow Cruisers! The Keating and Rickards families (from 2011 Disney Wonder Panama cruise) and first time Disney Cruisers Schloessingers are looking forward to joining you all on the Fantasy!

:welcome: all! So happy to have you with us!

I noticed that stitchkingdom.com posted a video of the Disney Fantasy Float Out party in Germany this morning (Sorry, I can't post the link - I'm too new).

Matthew we are thrilled to have you and your family with us...we also have a facebook group that you might want to look into and join to help you get to know others here and get some ideas for our cruise...it is a private group so you dont have to worry about peole not in our group seeing what you post...

Thanks! And we are thrilled to be going of course. I have already joined the FB group but thanks for the info. Two questions:
1. Is anyone "ordering off-menu" for beach excursions on St. Thomas (ie. Magens Bay) or St. Marteen? and...
2. How do I join DIS Dads?

Welcome again!

1. A group of us have signed up for the St. Maarten's tour through Bernards Tours ( www.bernardstours.com ) I am sure we have a big DIS group going and the more the merrier! As for St. Thomas I think many are still trying to decide. Personally I am leaning more towards Megans Bay for the kids and just relaxing. We have a 7,4 and 1 year old coming with us, and as much as I'd love to do a tour of the island, I don't think they'd find it too exciting. We left the 7 and 4 year old on the ship last year during our tour of Nassau, not sure if we want to use up all our nursery hours on an excusrion this time.

2. Visit http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2855131&highlight=dis+dads

Hope that helps!

I have not decided what to do for sure on St Thomas either...Think about joining our group on St Mateen for that one... I think that will be fun.

Now as far as the DisDads....they are a great group of guys!!! Come join in the fun...they also have a facebook page in addition to the Disboard site...When you post on the DisDads thread EmmasDad will assign you an official number.

Hi everyone!

Regarding St. Martin, we haven't decided yet exactly what we're doing. My DH is leaning towards doing the Twelve Metre Regatta excursion. I get seasick, and someone has to stay with DS9, so we won't be joining him. We may try to join y'all on the Bernard's Tour, we might try Under Two Flags (DCL excursion), or we may just try our own thing. As a HS French teacher, I'm excited to be visiting a part of France, no matter how small. :)

On St. Thomas, we're looking at doing the excursion where you hike, kayak and snorkel. I can't remember what the name is, but it sounds fun to all three of us.

Going back to St. Martin, does anyone know if you can get your passport stamped while there? My DS desperately wants his stamped saying France, and I wouldn't mind another stamp in mine.

I think you can put us down for a Magen's trip also. Has anyone been? I've only seen pictures - the beach looks nice and I've heard they have bathrooms and places to eat. What about snorkeling - any sea life to observe? Nothing worse than crystal clear tropical waters but the only thing you can see is sand.

Another question to ponder: Pixar's new movie Brave opens for landlubbers on 6/22. Any precedent for them showing it on the ship during our cruise?

On our April '11 cruise we saw African Cats the day it premiered (Earth Day) and on the November '11 cruise we saw The Muppets on the day it premiered. If it is a Disney movie, they will premiere it on the ship same day.

Wow I didn't even realize it opened then, that'll be amazing, I am sure they will show it on the ship!

Alice in Wonderland opened and was shown on our March 2010 cruise...so I would be willing to say there is a good chance this one will be available for us to see.....ps welcome to the disdads club!!

Yes, it was on FB. If you would like to join us, we are going on this tour. We would love to have you http://www.bernardstours.com/

Most certainly you can....the more the merrier!!!!!Just send a reserve request to Bernard on his website and he will send you a confirmation!

Just sent our request to reserve the tour with you all :woohoo: It's getting closer!!

For St. Thomas, we are interested in taking an excursion to St. John's. I would like to see a little of both islands, actually!!

I contacted Bernard's tours yesterday to book for us--requested Slim as our tour guide. Last June, when we were on the Dream double-dip cruise, I booked a Cabana on Serenity Bay for one of our CC days. Hoping to do the same this year, because it was absolute heaven on earth! In St Thomas, we'll more than likely book a snorkeling tour in St. John. :goodvibes

We're certainly hoping for Brave!

Ever since it showed up in the plans with a set day, we've been making our plans around it. So while we really want to run the Castaway 5k, we know that we'll be tired from the movie (or at least we're hoping we will be), so we are keeping an open mind as to our plans for that day. :)

Hello fellow sailors!

I haven't posted in a while, but have been reading all of the posts. Sorry for those whom are leaving our sailing trip...but happy that most of you are simply rescheduling to a later date! No matter when, DCL is worth waiting/planning for!

As for planning...i'm done with all of the wedding planning (I'm getting married during this sailing), thanks to Disney Fairy Tale Wedding! It was real easy, you just pick and choose things like flowers, music, champagne, cake. Speaking of cake, for those who want to see a pic of the cake we have chosen...here it is...as I've said, there will be plenty for all of us here to share, since we're eloping. It's the cake called: "Under the Sea, the optional one with tons of white chocolate seashells

Can someone give me a reference to the Facebook page? I will "bite the bullet" and become a member so that I can access our Sailing page. I will share more in the private Facebook page.

thankyou!!

That's gorgeous! My daughter had a very similar cake, with shells made of white chocolate, but these shells look so realistic. Can't wait to be one of the first to congratulate you as a married couple. So fun!:bride:
