Count Us In!

We are:
Stephanie (Me)
Craig (DH)
Brooklyn (11)
Madison (7)
Linda (Grandma)

We are in 9079 & 9579. Def count us in for the FE! I will look back and see if there is something special we have to do to sign up.

We are on a few cruises before this one. We are on Oct 23rd Wonder, Christmas Wonder, Hawaii Wonder and then this one! Whoa, that's a lot of cruises! lol The prices out here on the west coast are just too good to pass up! This will make cruise #13.

We are looking forward to the Fantasy. I liked the Dream but I LOVE the classic ships. We love both the Eastern and Western Itinerary. We did the Eastern in April and it was great. We are happy to be doing this one again! :)

Stephanie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are sailing together again! Brantley-Kate will be so happy to see Brooklyn and Maddie!

I'm currently scheduled to go on the Wonder MR for Thanksgiving week (not sure if I'll keep it, $$ is tight now) It's almost exactly 4 months away and the number of families participating in FE (are you ready...) 4. You read it right, 4 families (besides myself) currently participating in FE. How lame is that?:rolleyes1

Our Alaska DIS group was pretty quiet, too. I think these new itineraries are attracting a lot more non-DIS cruisers than the ones out of PC.

Yes I am new to this. I was wonderiing about the fish extenders do you do that and how do I find a pattern for them.

Sorry I haven't posted much here lately.:sad2: DW and I have been keeping up with everyone's posts. And I do want to :welcome::welcome::welcome: all of the new cruiser's who have joined the group. This is one GREAT group and we all are going to have a blast on the Fantasy!!!:cool1::banana::thumbsup2

Back to DW and I not posting much here. We are busy with getting ready for a back2back cruise on the Dream this September. We are doing a 4 day cruise followed by a 3 day cruise right after.:cool1: We are busy with getting our FE's ready for this cruise, buying some new cruise clothes, and well you know everything. Reading some of your concerns about over crowding on the new ships, I will let all know our observations and opinions after our cruise this September on the Dream. But, I have read what some others have said after sailing on the Dream. They said, areas where you thought would be crowded were not, and areas where you thought would not be crowed were. (Don't know what "areas" they were refering too.) But, as I said I will let ya'll know what I think when we return for our Dream cruise.:cool1::woohoo::woohoo:

Life has a knack for throwing us major ball curves when you're expecting a straight one (even at 100mph!)...

Sadly we have to cancel our cruise....

I know that you will have a "ball" out in the Caribbean Seas!! :thumbsup2

I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope all is well with you and your family and that you will be able to cruise again in the near future.

Happy Monday everyone!

:welcome: to all of our new members!

And meliador, I'm sorry to see you go. Hope everything is okay with you and yours.

Did everyone see the new picture of the Fantasy with the red smokestack in place?? I was soo excited to see it! Some of you can probably start picking out where your room is (not me, because I am just not that talented!). :)

Just to check, I haven't noticed it, but we don't have anyone from Norway on here do we? Horrible things...if any of you have friends or family there, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and to them. My best friend's SIL is from Norway and her family still lives there, so it's on my mind a lot right now.

To end on a slighly happier note, what are everyone's plans for the last few weeks of summer? In ATL, we only have 1-2 weeks left, depending on the school system (I start back officially next Friday, although I spent about 2 hours at school today). Anyone planning on sending out summer with a bang? :cool1:

We are going to end the kids summer break on a bang! We started the summer with a trip to Hilton Head and the week before school starts back we are taking the kids on a surprise trip to Disney World. they ahve no idea and I dont plan to tell them until we get to the airport. I am more excited at their reactions to the surprise than the trip itself!:cool1: However, I am dreading the heat and crowds....weusually go in October so this will be a change for us!

We are on the boat to Catalina tomorrow. We'll spend a couple of hours snorkeling, so hopefully it will get DD in the mood to try it in the Caribbean!

That's awesome! Last March (2010, not 2011), my DH and I had slight work-induced breakdowns and started looking at getting away for the weekend. We eneded up jumping in the car on Saturday around noon and driving to WDW - just for the day, b/c we all had to be at school/work on Monday. Our DS still thinks it was the greatest trip ever. :)

I was just in Orlando a week ago for a Harry Potter fan conference and it was frightfully hot! The worst part of the trip though was that I was so close to WDW and couldn't go. :(

So I know I'm late on responding, but hope you had fun!!

The rest of the family enjoyed snorkeling, but not DD. We've told her it will be much more fun in the Caribbean! At least she'll have a little experience for the next time. She lasted at least 1/2 hour in the water.

Just out of curiosity, what didn't she like? I've always wanted to snorkle but was recently reflecting on my one experience with a sting ray excursion in the Caymans and got worried.

On my excursion, we were the first boat to arrive, so we were able to be in the clear water for about 5 minutes and then could watch the black rippling wave coming towards us as the sting rays arrived en masse. I was totally freaked out and jumped out of the water into the boat faster than I knew I was capable of. :scared1: Nothing my DH said could make me get back in.

So now I'm worried that I'll freak out again...even though it's just fish and not sting rays. :confused3

I would LOVE to swim with the giant stingrays in the Caymans. That's on my to-do list if/when I go. DD just turned 7, so the problem was more about thinking she wouldn't be able to swim or breathe if we let go. She had on a full body wetsuit, so it wouldn't have been a problem. She wasn't terrified, but she said she didn't like anything about it.

Well, I think I found the right place!

Booked this earlier this month for our 25th anniversary!

Myself and my DW. This will be our second DCL cruise and we haven't even gone on my first cruise yet.
