Yep, 3 weeks, which I am calling a retreat..lol I justify the longer trip because I am driving this time. No worries about me using up all the pixie dust, I hear they put it in the slushies in France if you run out

In about 5 weeks I move into a newly refurbished office with a window. It's those little things that count. I've had the same windowless office for about 5 years. Though I can't really complain because my job requires me to visit workplaces all across our national forests. Some spectacular scenery out there when I'm in the field, as we say.

Oh - I would love an office with a window. I work in a basement. For 13 years, we all go up to the lunch room for the one window we can look out (no windows on the first floor either but it doesn't seem as dungy up there ).

Congrats!! And visiting the national forests - sounds like a great job.
