Hiya all, just wanted to check in. I am a not so single DIS'er these days as I have allowed myself to get caught up in a whirlwind romance the last few weeks. He has never been to WDW though But he is perfect for me in every other way, and has an open mind about going and meeting the mouse, so there is some hope.

Having a great weekend here. Really hot, but that's to be expected. Packing to leave for CA later this week, and my Aunt and Uncle are stealing the kids to take them to the Royal Lipizzaner Horse show today, so I'll have a few hours free!! WOOHOO!!

Mr. CA and kids are at Disneyland today and he told me last night, 'just think soon we won't have to go without you!' I can't wait!!

I think I read on another thread that you were going to re-read Twilight. Aren't those books so addicting?? I am just now starting Eclipse...I try not to read any threads the Twilight books because they give away too much info and I like to be surprised!

Hi I am doing well. You are not being nosy at all. My Denver guy is good, will be here next week for about a week long stay. The big news is he may be going to New Zealand for a year for work. Similar thing happened last year when he went to Tokyo for 10 months. So it will be hard but he is working it into his travel money for me to come out about 2 or 3 times. Luckily I have enough vacation time and flexibility at work that I could probably swing going out there for 2 week periods. I would use some vacation time and work remote the other part of the time.

So bummer he will be gone for a year. I felt the same way when he went to Tokyo but I was able to go out there twice last year and it was an amazing experience so I am trying to keep an open mind.

Wowwee!!! You'll get to share time with your BF in New Zealand. I am excited for you. That is way cool! My best remembered relationship was years ago, camping around Australia with an Austrian girl (yes, from Austria). That was a beautiful dream-come-true experience that topped all my global wanderings.

So glad to hear that things are going great for you two...bummer about New Zealand though...but the upside is if you can go there to visit for extended periods of time that might help some...not totally make it better but at least help! Mr. CA and I have New Zealand on our very long list of places to visit...I've heard it is beautiful!


Mr. CA and I are doing just great! Celebrated our first 'meeting' anniversary over July 4th at WDW...We had a wonderful time and going back to the scene of the 'crime' was kind of surreal! He and his two kids, it will be his kids first visit, will be here this Tues. for 5 nights and I can't wait to show them around!

The biggest news is that I am going to be moving to CA in September! I am really excited at the thought of being with him daily but I will miss my CO a lot, not the cold and snow though! I've been having a bit of homesickness and I haven't even left. I spent all of June in CA which was nice because it helped us both decide that I should move there.

Have a great visit next week when he is in AZ!

It is definitely hard being apart...but we are already used to that. I also look back at last year and think wow I got to go to Tokyo twice! So the distance is hard but I know it will be a great experience and who would pass up a free plane ticket to New Zealand.

However Tokyo has a Disney, New Zealand does not! LOL just kidding. But maybe next year I will be posting updates from down under (I think New Zealand falls in the down under category )

I don't read any threads either!! They are entirely addicting, this is my 4th round reading all 3 in a row. I cannot wait until Breaking Dawn comes out on 8/2. Going to a midnight release party at Barnes and Noble with some DIS friends, should be fun!

I can't wait till you get through Eclipse, then you'll have to write back to me. I wasn't a huge New Moon fan, but Eclipse helps make up for that.

I would gladly trade my soul if Edward would bite me!!
