It closes on our second day. I had planned to just do WS on our first day, but I may have to hit SE as soon as we get to the park that day.

I called AofA yesterday to check in on the fridge situation, and was told by a cm that the Art of Animation was not being affected by the refrigerator issue. The way she said it made it seem like she meant the entire resort. I know previously it had seemed that only the suites would be okay. I hope this is true!

Last night I was reading easywdw Josh's review of World Showcase. He found some neat things that I did not know existed, including a wine bar in the back of the Germany pavilion. DH wants to get away for a F&W Festival trip for just the two of us. He was thinking our 20th anniversary, but by then his parents will be in their 70's, and I can't be certain that they will still want to travel to take care of our kids (teenagers by then). I'm trying to convince him to go away for a long weekend for our 15th anniversary (next year!). He said he can't commit yet, but I've got him thinking about it! He wants to stay at an Epcot resort, and I've read the most economical way to do that is to rent DVC points, but that should be done 11 months out for those resorts. Don't know if I can get him to commit to that by then, either.

Are they closing SE?

Mickey Mail arrived yesterday, and I intercepted it before the kids saw it!!!

Now....the next surprise hurdle will be getting the ME luggage sticker thingys on without them seeing. I am thinking we will park the kids near the line for the luggage checkin and DH and I will go up together with the luggage and attach them as they put the luggage up to be weighed.

So excited to see their reaction when we walk up to ME!!

Just got my ME info in the mail! So exciting! Now I'm waiting on Mickey Mail and Photopass+. When it has all arrived I'll know that we really are close.

I got my ME envelope yesterday. I was excited to get it. I have all my Disney stuff I have been gathering in a big box I got from Disney store. 2 nights ago, I went into dd9's bedroom and saw a she has started a disney box of her own. So cute.

Its a BEAUTIFUL day here in St. Louis--hot but we can handle it. The reason it is so good is that Josh did REALLY good with his treatment last night. NO side effects at ALL and he slept comfortably all night. Due to an increase in steroids, he's ravenously hungry, but that's ok. We can handle that! Doctor said that if he continues to tolerate the treatment this well, we WILL be able to go to Disney in 11 days!! So, to celebrate, we are watching Pirates of the Caribbean and talking about vacation!!! Then, to top it ALL off, I read that they have postponed refurb of the Tiki Room!! Its not like that would make or break our vacation, but its nice to know it will be open!!!

THANK YOU, ALL of you, for the prayers, happy thoughts, and Pixie Dust!! I KNOW that's why Josh is doing so well!! If it weren't for our friends being so thoughtful and positive, it would be a hard road for us!!!

My TA looked it this for me as well and was told the same that AoA is not affected. We are booked into hr Little Mermaid section.

I can't believe I never posted here!

We're going to be at Boardwalk Villas from August 25th until August 31st. It will be my family of 5 (me, DH, 3 children ages 9, 7, 5), my step-dad (we sadly lost my mom over Christmas ), and our wonderful nanny. We are taking the auto train for the first time which should be an action-adventure!
Our ADRs:

8/26 5pm Akershus (I don't know if my DH has a crush on one of the princesses or if we go for my daughter - who is rapidly outgrowing the princesses - or for my youngest son who wants to marry Ariel - but this is a must-do on every trip!)

8/27 6pm Todd English's Bluezoo (my daughter's favorite restaurant at Disney!)
8/28 7:45am Cape May Cafe (DH and dad will be playing golf)
8/28 7:45pm Flying Fish Cafe (date night for me and DH)
8/29 4:25pm Be Our Guest
8/30 5:45pm Garden Grill (our traditional last night dinner)

36 days until we leave for Disney. 37 days until we arrive!
