ª"˜˜ª¤.¸Team August 2013 Thread! (Part 2)¸.¤ª˜˜"ª&#9733

Another opinion needed:

I am thinking about our travel day home. I've considered trying to get a breakfast ADR for 1900 Park Fare. We had dinner there last time. Anybody have any experiences with breakfast there? It is cheaper than other character breakfasts that don't require a park ticket, Cape May and Chef Mickey's. How is the food and variety? I tried to check availability on MDE, but they request that you call, which annoys me. I just want to know if it's an option.
Our other option is to head to DTD for some shopping before we head home. The downside of this is that the kids will have likely spent all of their spending money by then, I don't really need anything, and DD's room is such a mess that I need to get rid of things, not add more things to it. On the flip side, she is into My Little Ponies again, and I know she would have a ball filling a box in Once Upon a Toy.

Breakfast at 1900 PF is a lot of fun, with Alice, Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter, which are rare or impossible to find elsewhere (if you're into the character thing.) The food is pretty much the same as CM. Buffet with Mickey waffles, etc.

I heard a rumor that the MLP stuff is gone from the shops and has been replaced with the Build A Droid Star Wars stuff.

Thanks for your input! That would have been b-a-d to get her hyped up about MLP stuff and then not have it be there.
I have my TA checking on availabilities. If there are none, then we will probably just eat breakfast at POP and get to Hilton Head a little earlier.

I liked it when we went a few years ago. The strawberry soup is amazing! DH wasn't as much of a fan...you see pooh and tigger, Mary Poppins, and Alice and the mad hatter (who I loved). 'Ohana seems to be on the cheaper side too (compared to cm's anyway). Love Stitch! :-)

At sixty days I got a message when I went into my reservations that I could do online check in and now there is one telling me that in 30 days I can do online check in for 10 days out????? I already did it the first time around so do I have to do it again? What gives? I got an e-mail the first time around saying I'd done it. :confused3

Well my Micky mail should be showing up soon as we are 40 days out, though it will take longer to get to Canada but hopefully this week, so we'll see what mine says about early check in. But now I don't know if I should do it again on the 10 days out or just leave it.

Hmmm I didn't even think to try. I think I'll just leave it and see.

I noticed Le Cellier is no longer listed as not available for our Epcot day. I've been stalking MDE dining for a Via Napoli dinner spot. We have an ADR for Biergarten but have family coming with us now and they don't want to eat at Biergarten.....but nothing has opened up in the last couple weeks for Via Napoli so they might be out of luck.

How far in advance do you have to cancel your ADR?

This Mickey mail sounds fun! Do you get it if you booked with any travel agent? We are exactly 30 days away!!

QOTD: Now that we're getting closer how is everyone getting to the airport? Getting a ride, taking a shuttle, driving and parking your own car?

I'm getting a ride. We live close enough to the airport that someone can take me.

Got the Magical Express stuff today! :dance3:

We are doing a stay and park deal at an airport hotel. Our flight is early so we will drive up the night before and then take hotel shuttle to airport.
