We've misplaced the little mermaid. I know we had it but can't locate it anywhere lol.

We've only ever worn out toy story 1 &2 and that was before we had kids!!! Lmao!

My kids are also long past the days where we watch something over and over. Except for when ds was in the hospital when his appendix had ruptured. He watch all of the Toy Story movies over and over and over. I guess when you are hooked up to strong painkillers it's a new experience every time;)

Only my youngest is still into the movies - in the last couple of months we've watched Peter Pan, Snow White, Monsters Inc (and saw MU in the theatre - better than I expected :thumbsup2), Mulan, Lion King, Tangled. He's never seen Little Mermaid, but we don't have that one so I need to borrow it. He's the only one of my boys that would ever watch "princess" movies ;). My personal favorites are Beauty and the Beast and Tarzan, so we'll have to watch both of those before our trip.

Exactly six weeks from today - so excited :cool1:

My girls love watching the Three Caballeros and Saludos Amigos. They are definitely a quirky part of classic Disney, but entertaining nonetheless. The Gran Fiesta Tour is one of our favorite rides, and we often get to ride it back-to-back due to low or non-existent lines!

QOTD- Hope you don't mind but I'm curious!

What Disney movies are your kids into right now?

DS (almost 3) goes through phases it seems. Last week we watched every Toy Story movie, but TS2 at least daily, if not twice. He also really likes Wreck It Ralph, which is funny since Ralph was the only character he was scared of in December! In the past week we've watched the above, Peter Pan, Cinderella, Finding Nemo and Up.

For Disney Jr. shows he likes to sing along to Jake more than watch. He's always walking around singing "yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me!" It's too cute!

He likes Mickey's Clubhouse and enjoys the new Henry Hugglemonster show on the Disney Jr. channel. I think we watch too much TV in our house! ;)

Our 13 year old's favorite when he was little was Toy Story and we hadn't watched them for a while until the youngest was ready for them and the shock and laughter over the adult humor in them was hilarious to watch because we've obviously noticed it when watching with him! He does enjoy spotting the crossovers between the different Pixar movies when we watch them with his brother.

I've asked this on the AoA board but got no answer (I may have also asked it on here) so I thought I'd give it another go!

Does anyone know if the family suites have metal doors that will hold magnets?? We've decorated our door at other values and we were hoping to do the same. TIA

I think they do, but it's been six months since we were there so I'm not 100% positive.

We don't have kids but my boyfriend has been really into lion king lately. He's been walking around the house, lifting our dog in the air and singing "the circle of life" a lot.

I am looking forward to the days where I don't have to watch the jungle book 3 times by lunch!

LOL! I thought I wouldn't miss it, but sadly sometimes I do. My kids think I'm nuts because I still have so many movies memorized. What they don't understand is it's their fault!

My girls are a bit older too, but they have their favorites. Dd 12's fav right now is Hercules, Mulan & despicable Me (can't wait for universal this trip lol) Dd9's fav is the pirates of the caribbean movies as well as the Harry Potter series (i know not disney but we're going to see hogwarts for the first time this year!)

OMG! We will have to get our DD9s together. POC and Harry Potter are my daughter's favs too. We will be at CBR the same time. Too funny.

Pigletto, you make me laugh. :rotfl2:

Last time we were at WDW DD had her baby simba with her when we met Rafiki. Rafiki held up Baby Simba. It would be a great picture to get your boyfriend, rafiki, and the dog with Rafiki holding up the dog. Too bad the dog can't go. You'll have to find a stuffed animal that looks like the dog to take with you. :)

Gina!! Do you know how many times I've been to GWL and I have NEVER seen that there was an outdoor pool?:rotfl:
I guess it's because it's always something we do in the winter. Now that I think of it, I guess I knew it was there, but I've never been outside to see it!
How was the hill today? Busy I bet. We were just down the river last night at my inlaws cottage for a big fireworks show. It went on so long I actually went in the house. It was fun at first but then a lot of the neighbours had waaayyy too much to drink so we took the kids inside. Nevermind that they started at 8:30 and were still lighting them off at almost midnight:rolleyes:. The first little while was a lot of fun though:) We went out on the boat today, then to my parents for swimming and my moms birthday dinner. I am actually looking forward to doing absolutely nothing tomorrow:cloud9:

Clifton Hill was busy on Sunday, but surprisingly still really manageable. We waited maybe 5 minutes to board the Skywheel, which we thought was awesome. After spin on the Skywheel, we mini golfed at Dinosaur Adventure Golf, toured Movieland Wax Museum, rode Ghostblasters and played some games at the midway, ate some Dippin Dots and a Beavertail (my first!!), went to the Hershey Store and the Coke Store, then walked down through the gardens and took our traditional photos by the Falls. We left the lodge after lunch and were back in time for dinner :thumbsup2 .

I hope you got some nice weather for your Canada Day relaxation plans! It was pretty dreary here. We had thought about hitting up the fireworks but we were so pooped after travelling home, we decided to take a pass and hit the sack.

My favorite is also Beauty and the Beast. I selfishly snagged a BOG recipe even though the menu doesn't look spectacular and no one else in my family could care less about it lol.

We absolutely watch too much tv. I started adding up the time and had to stop before I came to an average total- too much!!!
