Yeah, it was originally supposed to go straight to DVD (which concerns me about the quality), but they decided to release it in theatres. Makes me think they will try to capitalize on the boys market by adding a Trains movie next. Here is a little blurb about it:What I was most surprised about is that Planes isn't a Pixar film, despite being a spin-off of Cars. It's being made by DisneyToon Studios, which usually makes direct-to-DVD films.
