Awesome!! What did you use to get them online??

I actually used google chrome. I usually use safari when I'm on the Internet and my safari had the new website so I decided to check google chrome and it was the old website working great as ever! :)

Ok I got through to a CM on the phone and booked:

Tuesday 8/20 (non park day) Chef Mickey 9:35 AM

Wednesday 8/21 BOG !!!!! 4:35. 2nd MK day of the trip
** Not sure what to do with this one. It is BOG so I really want to keep it, but our plan is early morning parks, afternoon break, evening parks and 4:35 seems early since we'd have to leave the POP resort by 3 I'm thinking. Worth it to go to the park in the morning for a couple hours or just go in around 3 and make it to 10? Thoughts? Maybe it isn't early? I don't really have a sense for travel time via Dis buses.

Friday 8/23 Biergarten

Not sure if these will be the only ADR's for this trip or not. Considering adding another character dining experience on the last day of the trip when the kids are hopefully more comfortable with the characters but it is an HS day.....LO's would probably like the Dis Junior one.

Decisions, decisions!!

BTW the CM says the system is not recognizing my reservation number and that is why I'm finding trouble with online dining reservations.

Yeah, I originally wanted BOG on August 14th, but there was no availability so I switched it with our CRT day. Sad because we have friends who have been living overseas for a few years and I thought it would be fun to all be at CRT together. I can get CRT on the 13th, but can't decide if I'm wiling to give up my BOG reservation...

I tried Chrome too with no luck. Oh we'll. I do have to say that the MDE is awesome now that everything has been linked band our plans are all laid out in a very easy to maneuver format.

I'm wondering if it's operating system related? I had issues with the site too, but just got a new computer that has a better operating system I didn't want to buy and, fingers crossed, it seems to be working well today! Or maybe it's just sheer luck!

Are you doing CRT after? That's what we did last year and it worked out great! This year we are just going to do a quick service lunch at BOG.

Nope. No CRT for us either. Hope to send DH and other DS to pick up a fast pass for something and meet them at opening in New Fantasyland. We're doing BOG for dinner that night.:goodvibes

I understand, just called and got BOG for the 22nd, couldn't accept not eating there, or the chance that maybe a ressie might possibly open up if I was lucky enough to be online at that moment.
Time with your friends though, equally hard to pass up.

You could always do a early morning and stay through til dinner, then call it an early night if you think you need the break, as long as you have already seen Wishes and MSEP. You can always make the night before, which is a non park day, the night you do the evening activities in MK. You can get more done in the early morning hours than you can in the evening since they tend to be more crowded. JMHO:)

Great idea. We do have another MK day where we will get in Wishes and MSEP so calling it a night after the early dinner may be a possibility depending on how hot it is that afternoon. Might still be a long day for 4 and 2 year old.

Hi everyone! Joining in with the cool people for August :thumbsup2 We will be there August 18-24. Not entirely sure where we are staying yet, but it will be myself, my DS6 and hopefully my cousin. Going to make it official sometime in the next couple weeks. Trying to hold out for a PIN code...but it's not looking good.

My PTR is kinda a mess....I was first planning November, then October, then nothing, then Feb 2014....and now I have "permission" from the hubby to go on our own in August :cool1: He has no love for Disney, and even less for the heat....so Bradey and I are on our own. Anyway...just wanted to check in. Going back to read the thread now.

Welcome! Yes, you can book any resort now and change it later (for packages, once you are within 45 days of your check-in date, change fees will apply). I would recommend adding your tickets now. Although it isn't cheaper, it turns your reservation from a room-only reservation to a Magic Your Way package, which comes with additional benefits (scroll down until you see Walt Disney Travel Company Package Benefits:

Happy planning!

Thanks for the info. We are booked at AoA for August 12-22nd! Now the long wait begins :)

I'm going to have a couple days that we will be traveling around the Orlando area going to a couple non Disney parks, I have a couple of restaurants I'd like to try, just wondering if anyone has ever been to them:confused3, they are A Land Remembered & The Everglades Restaurant:confused3

I hear you! I'm still debating, but I will keep checking and see what I can work out. We can always meet up in the parks, but I would love to see her girls all princesses up after the BBB appointment for CRT. It would be so cute! I have to live vicariously since I have all boys! :lmao:

Yay! We wanted to stay at AoA, but it wasn't part of the bounceback promotion we booked under. We are still waiting for other deals to come out for August, and then we may add a night at AoA or somewhere else we haven't tried yet!

You can add other deals on top of the bounce back? Sorry to intrude on the convo!

I changed our resort this morning from CBR to All-Star Movies. Can you please update our information? Dates are the same. Thanks so much!!

I will be going on my honeymoon to Disney and we are sooooo excited! We are staying August 5-10 at the Poly. My fiancée and I have been to Disney 3-4 times each growing up but it will be our first time together! I made my ADRs last week--Victoria & Albert's, Be Our Guest, Monsieur Paul's, Flying Fish Cafe, Aloha Dinner Show, Sci Fi Drive In, Tusker House, Liberty Tree Tavern, San Angel Inn, and 1900 Park Fare breakfast. We can't wait!!

I am new here but I have been stalking the site for a LONG time. Our first Disney trip was in 2010 with my military son and dil and we stayed off site at champions gate(something like that) Last August we booked a vacation package at pop for little less than a week. DDP, we loved it so much I even added on an extra day at the end.

Anyhoo this year I am planning a vacation for August 4-11, 2013 and planning to stay at AoA, it isn't booked yet but I am working on it as I am deciding between a TA or myself and am really hoping for a pin code or free dining.
Please add me to the list. I am going to ask to join the facebook group, please and thank you my name for facebook is Diane Terrell, thanks.

I'm in! I am going to Florida August 9-18. 4 of those days will be spent at Disney. We have dining ressies for Chef Mickeys, Tusker House, Crystal Palace, Shula's, Yachtsman, Sci Fi Dine In, Be Our Guest, and Jiko. We have yet to obtain: Victoria & Alberts, TT Dessert Party, and Narcoossee's,

Just found this page! I am so excited to join! We are going this august 5-15 ...longest trip i have ever done! It will be me, DH, DS5, &DD3. We will be doing a split stay (also a first) starting at shades of green and ending at my beloved Poly! Happy planning!

SenecaWolf, can you change my resort to Beach Club? Same dates, but our TA managed to squeeze us in at Beach Club so we jumped on the chance! I've been dying to stay there since our first trip to Disney! Yacht Club isn't much different, but I like the look of the Beach Club rooms better.

I think I finally have our park days and ADR plans figured out, so I'm really hoping I get everything I want. My ADR date is next Sunday the 24th. I don't know what everyone's talking about with all the website problems and the My Disney Experience thing? When I go to the Disney site it's the same old site as it's always been and I can make ADR's the same way with no problems. Is it because I'm in Canada that I'm seeing something different? I don't even know what My Disney Experience is LOL. I feel out of the loop and it's making me a bit nervous for when I need to make my ADRs!

Anywho, here are our plans:

23 - Arrive around 8:30. Order in Giordanos stuffed pizza!
24 - AK - Tusker House 8:00 am, Cape May Clambake around 6:00 pm
25 - HS then hope to MK for EMH. Ohana around 6:00 pm
26 - EP - Biergarten around 6:00 pm
27 - MK - Flying Fish around 7:00 pm, Jellyrolls after dinner
28 - Might do TL in morning, or just be lazy at resort. DTD in afternoon for shopping and Cirque du Soleil. Eating at Earl of Sandwich for lunch and WPE for supper.
29 - EP - Dinner at Le Cellier around 6:00 pm.
30 - Leave for home around 11:00 am. :(

The only one I'm unsure about is Biergarten. I LOVE it there, but we've gone twice now. Any other suggestions for your favorite place in Epcot other than Le Cellier? Also, is Flying Fish the best restaurant on the boardwalk in your opinion or is there a better option?

WE ADDED A DAY WE ADDED A DAY!! I'M SO HAPPY! We had to take two off originally cuz of money concerns but I was recently employed!!! So we felt peace about adding one of our days back!!! I am so excited! AND THEN I booked our flights and we actually got a great deal when I was so scared we weren't! I feel so blessed!!!! We also made our ADR's and we got some great meals to look forward to!:cool1:
On a totally separate note, I have decided to over come my chickenness and write a trip review with pictures! maybe even some video. I hope that my plan works out and I can share my review with all of my team Aug. buddies!!!:goodvibes

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I am so glad I found this site, so much information. We have been to WDW 3 times before, but not since 2006. So my wife and I cannot wait to go this August!

We have our flights booked, our dates were pretty firm (Aug 12-22) so we did that a few months ago, but we have not fully decide where to stay. We are leaning towards AoA right now. My question is can I reserve AoA now ($200 i think?) and if we change our minds later can we change the resort, or are we committed to AoA then? Also, is it best to buy the park tickets now as well, or can I get them later? Just wondering if they are cheaper if you buy them with your room reservation, or are they the same on their own.

I thought I was an expert on Disney, but now that I read stuff on this site, I am a total rookie, so much more than I thought!

Thanks for any help!

Today was my 180 day!!! I couldn't book past day one online (tried the iPad too, but no luck). I did call right at 7am and got all the ADRs I wanted!!

Sunday 8/18 - Le Cellier (7:25pm)
Tuesday 8/20 - Tusker House (12:30pm)
Tuesday 8/20 - Sci-Fi (6:30pm)
Wednesday 8/21 - Chef Mickey's (7:10pm) - later than what I wanted
Thursday 8/22 - Cape May (8:40am)
Thursday 8/22 - Raglan Road (7:15pm)
Friday 8/23 - 50's PT (12:30pm)
Friday 8/23 - BOG (8:15pm) - later than I wanted, but happy to get it on my day of choice!
Saturday 8/24 - Kona Cafe (10:15am)
Saturday 8/24 - Ohana (6:30pm)
Sunday 8/25 - HDDR (6:15, Cat. 1)
Monday 8/26 - Saana (5:30pm) - this was actually the most difficult to get - had to go with two tables - will request together when we get there.
Tuesday 8/27 - 1900 Park Fare (9:40am)

I also booked massages at the GF through dining and then was able to call tours and book the WAT. I am happy and relieved! Good luck to everyone else making ADRs today - in another thread I am seeing people being on hold for almost an hour - ugh...come on Disney, fix the website!!

Hey its me, you're flakey little TeamAugust cheerleader. I have NO plans yet for going in August again:confused: "WHAT?!?!" you say???? I know, I know, but its going to be a rough year for me budget-wise, so not sure if I can even go at all this year:eek:

Fear not:thumbsup2 I will still be around to cheer on my TeamAugust 2013 peeps!:cheer2: and hopefully my luck will change for the better and I can plan on a trip for the end of Summer(insert Disney prayer here):worship:

Anyway, I'll be around checking on you guys and living vicariously thru YOU!!

We are officially booked! August 4th through the 9th at AofA Little Mermaid!! I am super excited. We are not doing a lot of table service meals, just two planned at the moment.

August 5th at Akershus and August 9th at CRT.

Called this morning to book our ADRs and even the cast member was having issues. I got 3/4 of them booked and I'm hopeful I won't have any issues getting the last 4-5 booked. I was also a little disappointed that my plan for mickeys backyard BBQ wasn't happening since they're only doing it on Thurs & Sat in Aug. so we might eat at Whispering Canyon or Raglan Road on arrival night. So far we have the following booked:

Aug 12th ~ O'hana:8:10am, Via Napoli: 12:45pm, Cape May Cafe: 7:15pm

Aug 13th ~ Crystal Palace: 8:10am, Be Our Guest: 7:25pm

Aug 14th ~ Hollywood & Vine: 9:30am, Sci-Fi: 12:30pm, Cinderella's Royal Table: 6:40pm

Aug 15th ~ Tusker House: 8:15am, Yak & Yeti: 12:30pm, Biergarten: 7:30pm

Aug 16th ~ Kona Cafe: 9:05am

After typing all this I realized I have all my ressies listed, even the ones we couldn't get confirmed! I have to call back & see if I can get the last four (H&V, Y&Y, Biergarten & Kona) confirmed. And I have to decide on lunch on the 13th at MK and where to eat on our arrival night. This whole DxDP is a lot of work! ;) I am excited to try so many new places! We're really stepping out of the box this trip! And I'm thrilled I got a Be Our guest reservation locked in

Officially moved our trip from April to July to hopefully our final dates August 18 - 25 at POP Century. Excited to see the crowd calendars for this week are much better than the July dates I booked after losing our April vacation to mega blizzard Nemo here in CT. I've never stayed on property before and have heard that the value properties are large and include a lot of walking. Any advice on where to request a standard room that is convenient to main building / transportation. I'm traveling with DH, DS 4 and DD 2. Thanks!
