So excited to be able to get bbb at 8 am and cinderella's castle at 915 on 8/19 this am. Had to share.

Lol we added a day also. My reasoning, while I knew it would, backfired on me. I went to book our flight ISP to MCO. We were to travel home on Sunday but it was $320.00 more to travel, instead of Monday. So, I contact DVC to see if I can add Monday to our 2bdrm villa at VWL. Well, we could but I only had 30 points and I needed 14 more, so I had to purchase them. 13 points at $15, over $200 later including taxes, I'm only up $110. Now my cast of characters include a 23 and a 17 boys (boys to me anyway) $110 to feed them and my husband in Disney, yeah I'm back in the red

But you are in the red in Disney World...so it's all good

Hey its me, you're flakey little TeamAugust cheerleader. I have NO plans yet for going in August again "WHAT?!?!" you say???? I know, I know, but its going to be a rough year for me budget-wise, so not sure if I can even go at all this year

Fear not I will still be around to cheer on my TeamAugust 2013 peeps! and hopefully my luck will change for the better and I can plan on a trip for the end of Summer(insert Disney prayer here)

Anyway, I'll be around checking on you guys and living vicariously thru YOU!!

Congratulations..... I got 8:15 bbb on 8/21. I just made the reservation today late afternoon. Stressed about it all day, but had to go to work and unable to call during the day! Phew!!!! At least that's done!

We are officially booked! August 4th through the 9th at AofA Little Mermaid!! I am super excited. We are not doing a lot of table service meals, just two planned at the moment.

August 5th at Akershus and August 9th at CRT.

Called this morning to book our ADRs and even the cast member was having issues. I got 3/4 of them booked and I'm hopeful I won't have any issues getting the last 4-5 booked. I was also a little disappointed that my plan for mickeys backyard BBQ wasn't happening since they're only doing it on Thurs & Sat in Aug. so we might eat at Whispering Canyon or Raglan Road on arrival night. So far we have the following booked:

Aug 12th ~ O'hana:8:10am, Via Napoli: 12:45pm, Cape May Cafe: 7:15pm

Aug 13th ~ Crystal Palace: 8:10am, Be Our Guest: 7:25pm

Aug 14th ~ Hollywood & Vine: 9:30am, Sci-Fi: 12:30pm, Cinderella's Royal Table: 6:40pm

Aug 15th ~ Tusker House: 8:15am, Yak & Yeti: 12:30pm, Biergarten: 7:30pm

Aug 16th ~ Kona Cafe: 9:05am

After typing all this I realized I have all my ressies listed, even the ones we couldn't get confirmed! I have to call back & see if I can get the last four (H&V, Y&Y, Biergarten & Kona) confirmed. And I have to decide on lunch on the 13th at MK and where to eat on our arrival night. This whole DxDP is a lot of work! I am excited to try so many new places! We're really stepping out of the box this trip! And I'm thrilled I got a Be Our guest reservation locked in

Are you doing CRT after? That's what we did last year and it worked out great! This year we are just going to do a quick service lunch at BOG.

Officially moved our trip from April to July to hopefully our final dates August 18 - 25 at POP Century. Excited to see the crowd calendars for this week are much better than the July dates I booked after losing our April vacation to mega blizzard Nemo here in CT. I've never stayed on property before and have heard that the value properties are large and include a lot of walking. Any advice on where to request a standard room that is convenient to main building / transportation. I'm traveling with DH, DS 4 and DD 2. Thanks!

Hello August friends!
I haven't been checking in here too much lately. I've been spending my time in the February thread because..we leave in 3 more sleeps!!
I can not wait to get out of this cold weather. It was bitterly cold here today.

I make my ADR's on our first park day (this Saturday) for our August trip!
I am sure I will make myself cozy in here again once our upcoming trip is over. If there is anything anyone would like me to check on or look for while we are there let me know.

Just got Kona, Y&Y and Biergarten booked on my phone! That was a nice treat as it won't link my reservations, but will book anything that doesn't require a credit card guarantee. I also booked Tonys for our MK day lunch as I thought the 2 year old would like that best with his picky self. I'm now debating Y&Y though as its my 2 year olds birthday so maybe we'll do Rainforest Cafe or go back to the hotel for lunch t Whispering Canyon? The. We could eat at Raglan Road, one of our favs, on check in night?

I have been alittle OCD in trying to get that BOG on the 18th. This morning the web site didn't even show BOG as an option, it wasn't even listed in the section which showed which restaurants have no availability. Weird, frustrating.
I really didn't want to have any ADRs on our last 3 days so the kids could pick which parks they want to revisit, but if I am going to get BOG I will likely have to call again and get it on the 22nd. Here goes another 83 minutes on my cell phone. The My Disney Experience app on my phone just says to call to make ressie for this restaurant.

Having major problems with the "new" Disney website. Every restaurant I try to make a reservation for says "could not look up table availability at this time." Annoying!!!! This is supposed to be a "perk" of staying on property!

I would call. I've had some luck with the phone ap after the most recent update and when making reservations for my guests online its been hot or miss. I've found if it requires a credit card guarantee its harder to book. However, I spent a long time in the phone yesterday getting mine because she had to do them in groups of four or they wouldn't go through.

If you have an iPad, you can access the old Disney site and it allowed me to do all our reservations at 180+10, except for Fantasmic package.
