My one night Villan's solo trip turned into a 2 night with a friend!
We are both dressing up as princesses (hey villans aren't required and every 20 something girl loves a good excuse to go all princess!) and are super excited!

Staying at Pop Century still, got a preferred room.

I got an email today that they are ready to ship our MagicBands. Yay! 45 days to go!

Me too!! I just confirmed our selections! 45 days needs to fly by!!

Our magic bands are here (and hidden), now I just need to see if I can pack stuff and the kids not find out.

21 days to go! (22 according to MDE, but we're leaving the night before so that counts!)

Easywdw had changed the 14th to a non recommended day a while ago because they added DHS EMH's that day. I'm thinking the frozen crowds will only make it worse. But as of a few months ago, they changed DHS to red for the 14th. I know because it was originally my DHS day and I had to scramble to change everything to the 17th which was the next highly recommended DHS date.

Yeah I actually just saw that. I wanted to double check all of our days. Brother still wants to do a park that day and it looks like MK is the most recommended followed by Animal Kingdom so I guess I'll make some changes to our Fastpasses!

From what I have gathered it will be hard to make it to where the fireworks are going to take place from where Fantasmic is. I as debating the same thing but have decided to just leave after Fantasmic and not deal with the crowds and trying to get a good spot.

I'm kinda wondering how well it would work out if after Fantasmic, I bee-line for the entrance plaza, and just hangout and watch the fireworks from just inside the park gates. Then the moment it's over, turn tail and be at the front of the rush for the busses. Hmmm...

The "recommended days" for all of my days seem to have changed since I first set everything up. But the overall average for the week is still only a 3.5. So rather than redoing all of my Dining and Fastpasses (again!), I'm just going to leave everything as is, and hope for the best!

Our DME stuff came yesterday!!!

I have to be honest and say I am less than thrilled about the Frozen extension. Our trip covers 2 weekends and, of course, we had planned to be in DHS both Saturday mornings...and a Friday night and a Sunday night. Changing anything now would be a complete ADR disaster.

Oh well, we're used to the summer crowds, so I'll just pretend it's July

So glad to see another brother/sister traveling group! My brother is my favorite person to travel to Disney with, and we started an annual tradition a few years ago! too bad we miss each other we don't get there until 9/28!

BTW love the TARDIS in your signature, here's a picture of my brother dog tired after last years MNSSHP. I was dressed as the TARDIS but I can't find a photo of me. I'll be doing it again this year!

I'm with you, not too pumped about the frozen extension. My DD just said, oh, good. She is 6 and has the movie and an Elsa shirt, but isn't "frozen crazy". I have ADRs set and no hoppers, and we are going to HS on a Sunday and a Friday. We, on the other hand, are not used to crowds, we always go in September or spring once Easter crowds are gone. I'm slightly nervous.

Too funny! I went as the TARDIS for MNSSHP last year! I just wore that tunic dress from hot Topic and I had a TARDIS bow and some shoes I made to look like space. I had intended to wear some galaxy leggings but it was way too hot!

I'm glad you get to go with your brother! He's my best friend and last year while I totally missed my husband I really wanted my brother there. We're so close and we get along so well. He's 17 though and still kind of moody at times but I don't put up with that **** and he'll know it! We're going as Mike and Sulley this year. I hope you guys have a good time as well!

I am PUMPED they extended everything Frozen! We are doing DHS 1 day on the 14th and it is a Sunday so we'll see the parade and fireworks. Yippee!!!!!

Only 39 days!! It will be me and my boyfriends first visit alone for our 5 year anniversary! I'm so painfully excited. I cant wait for our bands and MDE info to come in the mail. When do they usually arrive? Do other things come in the mail other than the bands and MDE stuff? We have never stayed on property before!

Just got the notification for 1 month till Disney world! Can't believe that it's finally getting close! Have any other Canadians gotten their plane tickets and magical express package yet? If we haven't received ours yet should we be calling?

You should receive the DME within the next couple of weeks, as well as the Mickey Mail. You don't generally get the plane tickets in the mail, you get them either at the airport or you can check in online and print the tickets, usually the day before but this is dependent on who you are flying with.
