Can Universal STudios and Islands of Adventure both be done in the same day? My 7 year old dd (who will be almost 8 when we go) wants to go while in Florida. We're adding a day so we can do this ,but we'll only have one day.

I'm kind of late to this board so I dont know if you got your answer to this yet. Does your DD like Harry Potter? If so, you might want to dedicate 2 days to Universal as the new Harry Potter addition will be opening this summer. When we go the second week in September we will more than likely dedicate a whole day to the 2 Harry Potter sections of the park, then another day to everything else.

Ok so I think I may be a bit crazy as I'm already trying to think of a costume for the MNSSHP. I think this may be due to the not so nice weather we are having. Is anyone else thinking about this or am I really the only one. Also since our actual anniversary date will fall while we are there we would like to have a romantic dinner as it is our 10th wedding anniversary. I'm thinking California Grill or Jiko but not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA

You're not crazy at all! I've already bought parts of my costume lol I'm doing a low key comfortable Minnie Mouse costume. Red shorts with white polka dots, black t shirt, white gloves, yellow keds, mouse tail and Minnie ears. Comfy, but still obviously Minnie

Question for those of you who have already been booking for BoG dinner ADRS in September:

My ADR date is approaching in a few days, on Wednesday (3/26). I fully intend to be online at 5:55am, ready to grab whatever BoG I can for 9/23. That's the ONLY day in our schedule that will work.

But out of curiosity, I've been looking for the furthest date out I can currently check (presently Sept. 19), and there's NOTHING available! Needless to say, it's scaring me.

For those of you who have been booking your ADRs in the last week or two... How much luck are you having with nabbing a BoG ressie??

On Monday when I booked my ADRS, I was able to get a BOG for my party of 5 on 9/27, but not 9/23. According to the Cast Member who helped me, you pretty much have to try for later in your trip, or at least 185 days in advance - due to all of the previous 180+10 bookings.

Your best bet would be to try and book it as late in your stay as possible. The earlier days will be more so taken up by people arriving the few days before you.

Thanks! I am all signed up! Magic bands are fun to play with. My daughter's name is actually too long for the band! LOL We expected that though.

I did get BOG today at the exact time I needed thanks to a friend releasing it to me when she got her first choice. It's for 4 but I needed 5 because of my 1 year old. Anyone know if they'll be able to modify it or if I bring her would they still seat me? I'm SOOOOO excited for that one!!!!

ETA....oh do you get to pick which room you want to dine in?

My daughter's name is 12 letters/spaces, so much longer than allowed! Luckily, her "nickname" is 2 letters, so it fit.

From what my TA said, you do NOT get to pick your room, but you can request once you "check in". I would love to be able to do that.

BOG & CP must be picked over prior to the 180 days is all I can say. This is day 5 trying to get Early Breakfast for either one or Dinner at BOG and nothing. :-(

Well, I had what I'll call "moderate" success. I got everything I wanted, except BoG on the LAST night of our stay instead of the second night. This has put me in the position of having to choose between BoG or the originally planned-for Akershus. I've been sitting here pouring of my itinerary plans, trying to see how I can rearrange to make it work, and there's just no way. It's either give up Akershus and go back to MK that night instead of Epcot. I've already got us planned for an ......

Focusing on the positive... The nice thing is that we'll finish dinner just in time for SpectroMagic and Wishes, and it's also the last night of our trip, so that'll be a really wonderful way to say goodbye.

That looks great! I just finagled my plans to fit in Akershus as well, but we are going for an early breakfast so we get into Epcot before rope drop we will also be doing Be Our Guest for our last day at the parks. I agree, it's a suitable farewell!

We have yet to book our room since it's still a toss up between renting DVC points and staying in a studio, same price stay in Pop or up a little to CBR. Hmmmmm....my crystal ball says FD? Or go cheaper room. ?!? What to do!?! Which means everyday I have another 180 day window for ADR but those that have ressies already have taken prime spots. Oh well, if I don't get our wishes this year then we will try again next year .

Cant believe I forgot to post......ADR day was Sunday, got up super early to get on computer right at 6am eastern, was able to book everything we wanted at the times we wanted with no website issues.
