Are you not able to book yet? I just checked, based on a party of 4 (that's what we have, so it's what was in already) and there was an 8:10. I can check again with the number in your party if you want. ADR's are so stressful!!

We got 6:40. But now that I'm looking at the menu, I may end up cancelling, I don't see anything that my son would eat. I'll have to review with him, he said he wanted to eat in a castle this time, and I thought this would be a better option than CRT with two boys, but maybe not...

I apparently can't book until Thursday, 180 days since we are offsite. I'm checking for 6 in my party, let me know if you see them open!!! Thank you!!!!!

Seeing all the posts asking for MNSSHP dates and www.easywdw.com posted them a week or so back. They are every Tues and Fri and 2 Sundays on the 14th and 21st or 28th. 14th for sure since that was during my stay and I was trying to decide between going on the 14th or 19th. They also have posted that F+W soft open at Epcot will be the 18th in the evening and it opens officially on the 19th so be aware of that if you had Epcot plans over the weekend...crowds will be drawn to that.

The sept hours calendar has been available for a couple of weeks now, and I think a lot of people know that the nights MK closes at 7 is usually for MNSSHP(except the first weekend in sept which is Night of Joy.) However, in my case, I won't believe it until Disney releases the dates lol! I'm hoping to go to MNSSHP on sun, 09/14, but they haven't done parties on Sunday nights that early before, and the hours calendar doesn't list any extra magic hrs for any parks on that date - very suspicious lol! :) I had to make my dining reservations already without knowing which day we'll be at the party (Sunday or as an alt Tuesday.) I'm going to have to cancel a reservation or two when they finally solidify the schedule.

Still shows it available at 8:10 for a party of 6! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I'm in the same boat! According to the September calendar, MK closes at 7pm on Sunday Sept. 21st. This is the day I've planned for MNSSHP... hoping, praying, crossing my fingers and toes and eyes! There's really no wiggle room in my plans for an alternate night. If the party dates come out and the 21st ISN'T on there, I'm going to have to re-do my ENTIRE itinerary and ADRs. Ahhhhhhhhh!

Booked our reservation last week! My boyfriend and I will be spending Sep 14-15 at AoA in a Little Mermaid Room, and the 16-20th at POR!!! We are so excited!! Today was our ADR day too, we got reservations at Be Our Guest, Ohana, Crystal Palace for a character breakfast, and Teppan Edo in Epcot.. woo hoo!!

Oh- and now I am SOO tempted to add a 7th night to our reservation to go to the MNSSHP... I just can't decide if it's worth it! We did a split stay so only did the dining plan from the 16-20. Here's our schedule!

9/13 - If we add a day this would be it! This would become our DTD day.
9/14 - Travel, check in at AoA, DTD for dinner and shopping -- if we add second day, this would me MNSSHP!
9/15 - Tampa for Rays game
9/16 - Check into POR, AK, Ohana for dinner and possibly MK for evening, or watch fireworks from Polynesian.
9/17 - HS
9/18 - MK - Crystal Palace for breakfast and BOG for dinner!
9/19 - Epcot for Food and Wine! Dinner res at Teppan Edo.

Then we are going to Miami for 2 nights and flying back Monday 9/22.... I know it's a lot! But we both can get the time off work and our life goal is to visit all of the MLB stadiums so we are knocking two out in this trip. :)

I am excited to be going in September 8-14. I would love to eat at BOG but only to try their strawberry cream cheese cupcake. Heard it was delish!!! ❤️

We've gone to Disney in September 5 or 6 times, I've lost track! Luckily we've never had a problem with the weather on our arrival and departure dates and we fly from the northeast. However, just in case, I always buy trip insurance. It's not expensive ($118 for two adults, kids were free) and it gives us some peace of mind if we have an issue. And although you may be more worried about September, hurricane season runs from May until November. :)

Sounds like fun! We will be there at the same time and are doing the MNSSHP on the 16th (Tuesday). In my opinion, it's totally worth it! We did two last year, after going the year before and having so much fun. This year we are only there for one week (DS starts Kindergarten, can't take him out for two) so we are doing one MNSSHP. I would love to do Sunday and Tuesday, but since it impacts our park days so much when DS is tired from the party, we are going to stick with one. But my vote is to go for it, an extra day in Disney is never bad!

Just completed the 180+10 ADR rat race this morning (or was it still night?) and got all 12 of my ADRs. Were booked for AKL from Sept. 15th through the 27th. One last Fantastic package to book tomorrow morning and were all set. WoooHoooo!

Looks like the OP of this thread is MIA?:confused3

Oh well - I'm still happy to join the September gang!:grouphug:
We'll be at Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House in a 1BR Villa from Sept 20-27.

Very, very excited to stay at AKL for the first time.....:cheer2:
And very, very excited to see that this Sept "Happy Dance" thread is so SMALL - compared to the August and October threads! :cool1:
Hoping this is an indication of SMALL crowds in Sept once again. We have gone in Sept for many years and it seems to have gotten progressively busier through the years. No matter the crowds, it's still our favorite time of year to go.

Thanks paws93, I told my husband we could get trip insurance for this trip we have in the past and it does ease the mind. we will be flying in from Texas. He is more intrested going in October for F & W but the crowd levels are so attractive in September, plus its my birthday month.

Food and Wine starts Sept 19th!!!
