We went last year around this time for my ds birthday which is also on the
10th. It was hot but we had amazing time!

We're planning 9/28-10/4. Traveling with DH, DD7, and DD4! I am so excited!! Still trying to decide where to stay, leaning toward POR...

So I haven't posted in awhile, although I am subscribed to the thread, so I have been reading everyone else's updates.

We were originally coming 9/19-9/28 and doing a split stay between POR RR and Wilderness Lodge, but my husband got a promotion at work and we were no longer able to go that week so now we are booked 9/5-9/14 staying the whole time at POR RR. Another change is that we are traveling with my sister and my two nieces, as well as my mother now. My husband is not as thrilled about this as I am… I SWORE that I would NEVER travel to Disney again with my mother (thats a whole 'nother story), but I am very happy to be able to experience Disney with my two nieces. So it will be 8 of us all together: Me, dh, dd6, ds8, ds, dn6, and dn 3. My sister and company will not be with us the whole trip though. She is joining us 9/7-9/12. I thought this my appease my dh, but not as much as I had hoped.

Have the dates for MNSSH been released yet?

I don't think they have. You can pretty much tell what night they are planning on having it, based on what nights the MK closes at 7 PM.

So i told my kids tonight!! i wanted them to help me plan where they wanted to eat and other plans so excited they are!

My kids have know our last three trips.This time we are trying very very hard to surprise them. They actually will have TWO surprises this trip, because even after we get there we are not telling them that my sister and their cousins are joining us later in the trip!

After hours were released and we saw the start of Food and Wine and pushed up we decided to move our trip forward a week. We are now going 9/9-9/16 still at Bay Lake Tower and my sister and her daughter will still be joining us.

Just booked for Boardwalk Villas 9/21-9/27! This is the longest I have ever had to plan!! We usually throw it together in a month or two…I mean, I actually get to make a dining reservation without taking whatever is left. I won't know what to do with myself!! I can't wait!!!

I'm in the same boat! I usually get the urge to go and plan a month or two ahead. I am an obsessive planner though so I'm kind of excited to go overboard planning lol

Yay, we have finalized plans!
We're going Sept 28 - Oct 2 (when we board the Disney Dream!)
And we're staying at the Wyndam Bonnet Creek right next to MK courtesy of my mom's time-share points - which means more money for fun stuff & souvenirs. Woohoo!

We're only doing MK & HS this time around, but I'm still super-excited! Plus we'll be celebrating my son's birthday since he turns 4 during our trip. I can't wait!!

Not official yet but I do have it listed in my timeline and as soon as our sister in law receives her money from the government on back pay, the resort will be booked. We are waiting on her to finalize as we want this to be an extended family vacation.

Has anyone else ever gone to Disney the first week of September? How are crowds?

We are hoping to do the MNNSHP, has anyone been, have any suggestions, and knows if Sun, Tues or Fri would be better/ less crowded?? (This would only be DH, DD(4) and myself.)

As far as dining we are hoping to get:
CRT(D), Tusker House (B), Coral Reef (D), and Captain's Grille (D)

we are going to do MNNSHP on Tuesday sept 9th
wed sept 10th i am hopeing to do a illuminations cruise for my dd 10th bday

eatting at: rainforst cafe, Be our guest, and possibly CRT, Mama Melrose f! package,

my son wanted rainforst cafe i was really shocked at that lol

So next friday march 7th i get to make my reservations i can't wait it will feel so final then! also on march 3rd southwest will release flights until oct so i get to make my flight plans too! ubber excited for next week!

This is what I have for plans so far! Just hubs and I. 8 day park hopper with water park & more option.

Monday 1- Check in/Epcot
Tuesday 2-Animal Kingdom AM/ Hollywood Studios PM
Wednesday 3- Magic Kingdom
Thursday 4- Hollywood Studio AM/Epcot PM
Friday 5- Water park AM/ Boardwalk PM
Saturday 6- Animal Kingdom AM/ DTD PM
Sunday 7- FREE DAY! Pool/mini golf/ park, pick something! lol
Monday 8- Universal Studios
Tuesday 9- Magic Kingdom/MNSSHP
Wednesday 10- Water park/ Anniversary dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse
Thursday 11- Check out, park before we leave

Our dining plans include: yak & yeti, yachtsman steakhouse, ESPN club, the wave, paradiso 37, raglan road and via napoli
