I am so enjoying your trip report. I have been tempted to take a solo trip as my husband is not a great lover of WDW, but have always been a little afraid. After reading your trip report, I am more confident I could do it. I also am a great lover of the chicken nuggets; especially with the sweet mustard as a dipping sauce. Mmmmmm, my mouth is watering right now just thinking about them. Looking forwarding to reading more about your trip.

Thanks Darren, yup, another solo. It wasn't originally planed to be, but it's how it worked out. And by this point nobody had any vacation left for the year to come with. Thankfully, I have lots.

Yay for your trip! I was there at the same time in 2011. My favorite souvenir from that trip is my Mickey snowman popcorn bucket with top hat. You know that bad boy comes out at Christmas to be a centerpiece!

Ahh thank you!! It's a beautiful time to be there. That's a great keepsake you got. Funny that one of my favourite mementos is a MVMCP cocoa styrofoam cup that I somehow managed to get home in one piece. And it was free!!

Let me just say Christmas, your birthday, and Disney...OMG...enough said. I had the privilege this year of being at Disney for my birthday and at one of my favorite parks- Animal Kingdom. It really was awesome and oh yeah I wore my button proudly! Of course we are now planning our next trip for July (in the next three years) so DH can be there for his birthday.

Yay for another trip in the works. Those are close to the dates I've been playing with online, but highly doubt it will happen. DD turn 31 on 12/7 and I always dream about a mother / daughter trip for her birthday some year.

So, I just found your trip report today and read the whole thing while my daughters were napping. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

I totally agree with what you said about the DIS. Most people join just to get some tips, ask questions, etc and then end up making some wonderful friendships.

That's so exciting that you booked a Christmas trip! That's our favorite time to visit Disney World... everything is just extra magical during that time of year isn't it? Had a lazy day here today, just doing a bit of and adding a post to my own TR when I decided to cruise around the site a bit. Well, I found yours and am glad I did. I had a wonderful afternoon read and am now all caught up. You have made me laugh out loud and tear up all in one short afternoon!!! Great report. Can't wait to hear about the rest of your stay. And I noticed you will be on vacation during the same time the Podcast crew will be having their Podcast party at the Studios. There will be a lot of Disers there that evening. It is the 6th of Dec.
