portofino

Wondering if anyone has been to Portofino recently and could update on the construction? I am going in 2 weeks & wondered if they had moved to a different part of the hotel or still same area being worked on? Does anyone have pictures on how it looks currently? Thanks!

Has anyone ever booked Portofino through the Amex Fine Hotel and Resorts program? Do you still get the normal perks from the program? (early checkin, 4PM check out, breakfast and F&B credit?) Also, as a general question for anyone, we are planning on getting to the resort the day we are going...

I've seen mentions of requesting balcony rooms in different threads, but I haven't seen any mentions of booking a balcony room. Is there any way to do this? I would consider booking club level or a suite if it was guaranteed.
