Traveling with my service dog in training

I have seen other service dogs in training in strollers Florida state laws do though.

Traveling with my service dog in training

Per the ADA I do believe animals are allowed to be in something that you brought, as long as it's not a cart in a store, etc. However I will do more research. If that is the law, which I'm pretty sure it's not, I'll use a chest pack to keep him off the ground when entering/exiting

Traveling with my service dog in training

Also, especially since he's still in training, I'm not going to work him ALL day long. So I will be allowing him breaks. Shouldn't concern anyone but me.

Traveling with my service dog in training

Service dog is still in training. Also, it is just for exiting and entering the parks so he doesn't get trampled. So yes, during the other 8 or however many hours during the day, he will still be able to provide service outside of that.

Def will have our booties on us! That was just so I can let his feet sweat and get a break from wearing them.

Traveling with my service dog in training

Hi all, I'm coming back to Disney in a few weeks. I've been training my dog to be my service dog and he will be accompanying me on this trip. He is 17 pounds. We have done some public access training and he can perform a few tasks for me, however, I am a bit worried about the walking...

If they don't give me a DAS I dunno what I'm gonna do

You still have to wait in the fast pass lines even with a DAS. They'll give you a return time, and you'll come back, scan your band, and get in the fast pass line. Which is still a line and can be anywhere from a 5-25 minute wait.

    Service dogs

I have a service dog in training. If I bring him on my next (solo) trip, what can I expect? I've seen the Disney link for service animals but still need clarifying. Can service dogs ride some rides? If so which ones? Track rides like Ariel and The Haunted Mansion? Can they do character...

    Don't use "Yellow Scooter" Rental!!

We actually just had something VERY similar happen. My dad requested and paid for a scooter for Memorial Day-Thursday. They called the day before and said they were all out and only had the pricier ones left but he would have to pay for an upgrade. He wasn't having it then they upgraded for...

    A review of DAS

Im an AP holder at WDW. For the first time I requested a DAS pass. I just talked to a CM at guest relations, explained my needs, and the process was easy. Being in tight spaces, in between so many people for more than 40/50 minutes, etc is enough to give me severe chest pains, stomach aches...

    Das pass

Hi all! I'm going to WDW in 2 weeks with my dad. I go a few times a year but he hasn't been since he was a kid. He broke his foot a few years ago and is pretty overweight so he'll be renting a scooter. How hard is it to obtain a DAS pass? I love my dad, but he's just s different person. It...

New Express Transportation: $19/day or $29/week-SERVICE ENDING AUGUST 23RD 2017

I did express transportation on my trip in December. Didn't care for it because they didn't give out a bus schedule. Do they have bus departure times for each park? That's the only way it would be worth it for me to do it again.

How many miles do you walk each day in Disney?

I start with early extra magic hours and end with late extra magic hours. I park hop like it's going out of style. I average 13-20 miles a day. No wonder my feet and back hurt so bad when I'm there

    Dollar store finds...

Definitely! I def check the size and they're not quite full size but still cheaper than buying a big size at target.
