    Thank you!

1 Day @ DL or DCA: Fantasmic or World of Color? Dining Package?

I agree with this--Hungry Bear is a much quicker dining experience, and the viewing area is almost identical as the area for Blue Bayou. But WOC is a completely different show. I haven't done the dessert package there, though. We did Hungry Bear F! dining in November, got there very early...

SWGE in August? Parks in August?

Thank you! Did I read somewhere that there will not be any Fastpass nor Maxpass for SWGE this summer, though?

    *August 2019 check in*

We are going to be staying in a DVC room at the Grand Californian Aug 15-18 while we take our daughter to college in So Cal, but still deciding if we are going to the parks. Anyone have info about how the will be handling entrances into SWGE at the time? When is WOC starting again? This is a...

SWGE in August? Parks in August?

Any idea on how DLR will be handling SWGE attendance after the reservation time ends? We are people who never, ever do DLR in the summer or on school breaks. We don't like hot weather or huge crowds. BUT . . . our daughter just decided that instead of going to a local college, she is...

News: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

But if we wanted to do 5 consecutive days, we could only reserve 2 at the 30 day mark, and then basically be rolling the dice during our trip that we could reserve only 2 days ahead for the rest of the trip, right?

News: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

In reading the details more, you can only reserve 2 days at a time? We are from out of state, so we usually go for around 5 days. If I'm reading the rules correctly, I would only be able to reserve 2 days for a trip? Is that correct?

A question for people that have been to club 33 (*not* asking for a reservation)

We had the amazing experience of being hosted at Club 33 last November. Our host (who was the friend of a friend actually, but the intermediary friend contacted us both and put us in direct communication with one another) told us that if guests break the Club 33 rules, the member hosting them...

News: Disneyland Resort Introduces New Annual Passport that Combines Value and Flexibility

Are there any updates as to how hard it has been so far to get a reservation 30 days out? And is there any advantage to people staying on property?

Questions about TDR regarding DAS and scooter

Thank you! I will look into that! Also, can Disney gift cards purchased in the USA be used at TDR?

Questions about TDR regarding DAS and scooter

Thank you! I figured it was probably quite different. Are there ECV's available to rent outside of Disney like they are in CA and FL?

Questions about TDR regarding DAS and scooter

We are considering a TDR trip next spring with our friends who are currently stationed in Japan. When we do DLR, I rent an ECV because my bad knee doesn't take "Disney walking" (despite the daily miles I put on my treadmill!). Also, our teen daughter has spina bifida and is issued a DAS when...

We had heard that they had some groceries there but we never found any. We ordered an online order to be delivered from vons.

One time I wanted to go out there after we had checked out and my key didn't work any more, but I happened to see a CM up there, and he let me in with his key.

There is a deck on the 6th floor of the Disney Vacation Club wing that has a great view of Pixar Pier. You need a room key to get into it. You might be able to do a DVC tour and get to see it that way?

Grand Californian Super Thread Updated 11/7/13

I was just there in November with my Nikon DSLR. We were in a DVC room, but if the safes are the same (sounds like they are by what RE1333 said above), I don't think mine would fit. It fit a couple of ipads sitting upright. Perhaps if you took the lens off, but it would depend on size and...

    Grand Californian Wait List

I always either call or do an online chat with DVC ahead of time and request certain room #'s. It was also our 30th anniversary, and our son's fiance's birthday, so I'm guessing that might have helped this time? We have never had our first request granted (although we have always been in a...
