Can you change my arrival to 8/6 at the Contemporary? I decided to come over on Tuesday night instead of getting up way to early on the 7th.

I liked that. I've had a hell of a year already and I need some downtime. First I came out as Trans, then I got news that I needed a new hip, then I had to go back to therapy for my knee. Then I had to cancel a trip to Disney Memorial Day because my Dad passed away last week and my brother...

Kind of curious, is anyone planning on staying at the hotel by the pool and just relaxing?

Gender neutral bathrooms at WDW, specifically MK?

They have had them for years. They are primarily for people in wheel chairs. They have a handicapped sign on or next to the door.

Reading this brought back crazy memories of going to Disney back in the 1990's and wearing high heels and now I'm in an ECV, LOL

Sorry, I've been dealing with a family issue this week. If you can, I'd like to attend Garden Grille and Hoop Dee Doo. If not, tis ok. Don't mind waiting for a cancellation either up until that week.

For Plaza Terrace and Garden Grille are we going to meet up there? I start another round of rehab this week for 6 weeks and I'm pretty sure I will be in an ECV at Disney in August.

This doesn’t sound good (EMH going away?)

No, they didn't. They tried to do this when the added the parking shacks to the resorts. And people realized all they need to do is say "I'm going shopping, dining, meeting some friends, etc and they will let them in to park. If it's "full", then they will say "I'm going to valet park"...

If Disney hotels are "just like" or "no better" than a Motel 6 or a Days Inn, why do you stay on property? I saw 3/21/2018 coming the day Disney began to charge for Valet Parking. How many on here are comparing Disney hotels to offsite hotels like Courtyard, Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt Place...

I was working in Davenport about 15 years ago in the citrus industry and I would stay at the Hilton in DTD and I loved it. This was long before anyone charged a resort fee and self parking was still free.

This doesn’t sound good (EMH going away?)

It really isn't "extra" revenue. Conventions and groups that book these night time parties often book them a year, if not several years in advance. They know, from the signed contracts, how much they are going to get paid, and schedule CM's accordingly. And Disney most likely has projected...

This doesn’t sound good (EMH going away?)

Disney is the last major hotel group in the Orlando area to charge for parking. It is the industry standard for hotels like these. Yes, Courtyard, Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt Place, etc. don't charge for parking. Go onto I-Drive. The Hyatt, the 3 Rosen properties, the Hilton (along with the...
