October 2019 Car Rentals at MCO are Painful. What are your finds?

I always look at the taxes inclusive price. When I quote rates here, they are always the total prices with all taxes and fees included. Rates for my data have skyrocketed again. Up $115!! Glad I locked in while prices were low.

October 2019 Car Rentals at MCO are Painful. What are your finds?

Down to $250 for my week :dogdance:. Standard SUV, Alamo through Costco (so we get the free extra driver as well). October 18th through 25th inclusive. $250 was my target rate for a larger vehicle.....so I'm shocked to achieve that this far out from our travel dates.

October 2019 Car Rentals at MCO are Painful. What are your finds?

It might be worth checking those rental rates, fellow October travelers. Prices for my dates dropped over the weekend. I was able to rebook yesterday at $60 less than my previous booking AND got a larger vehicle. I'm now at $260 for 8 days in a Standard SUV. Alamo through Costco.

October 2019 Car Rentals at MCO are Painful. What are your finds?

I wiill always hold one reservation as a worst case scenario. At least then I can begin budgeting and know it can only get better. When prices drop, I will rebook at the lower rate and cancel the reservation with the higher price. I dont consider booking 6 months out "early". The lowest...

October 2019 Car Rentals at MCO are Painful. What are your finds?

Our May rate started out at almost $400 when I first booked the rental, and by the time we traveled, we paid $241 and received a $30 Costco card (making our net cost $211.....for a standard SUV). Hang in there!! The price drops will come.

October 2019 Car Rentals at MCO are Painful. What are your finds?

We have an intermediate SUV booked for October 18th to 25th inclusive for $319, Alamo via Costco. Our May rental started out at a similar price point and dropped considerably about 6 weeks prior to our departure. I am confident that our October rentre will do the same.

Hi everyone! We returned 9 days ago from another lovely stay at the Vistana. I wanted to pop back and share an update that's been mentioned here within the last few posts, specifically regarding Jennifer Bravo. Jennifer is, indeed, still employed at SVR, but unfortunately she no longer holds...

When did you arrive, cakebaker? We got here last Saturday (May 4th) and have only had two afternoon thunderstorms......a shorter one on our arrival day and a longer one on Sunday, May 5th. Otherwise it's been nothing but sun. We have been visiting Orlando the 1st week of May since 2015, and...

We were also at DAH last night. VERY pleased with the event, and we would totally do it again. Our last 2 rides on BTMRR there were a grand total of 7 people, including us, on the train. Hubby had his own boat on Splash. We waited maybe 5 minutes for 7DMT. So. Much. Fun. This is the way...

Hey everyone! Finally checking in! We have been having a GREAT time so far.....my only complaint, as it is for most of us, is that time is going by WAY too fast. I cant believe we will be heading home in just a couple more days. Universal has been amazing and it's been so good to be back...
