I thought I'd responded! Thanks for the info. It's on my calendar.

Thanks for the recommendation. My daughter and I both downloaded it to our respective devices and started today. It sounds like it'll be a lot of fun, much more enjoyable than the standard C25K app I had been using. And our first goal? An August Zombie Run 5K.
Thanks for the link on the zombie run, I haven't heard of that one!
Here are two others:
This one you get 3 flags (like flag football) and if you get to the finish with at least one flag, you've survived. No flags, you're infected and the finisher medal you receive states "survived" or "infected". Love it, but you'll see lots and lots of mud if you watch the youtube videos.
Looks like there is no mud in this one. I'm considering doing it.
Do you need to be connected to the Internet to enjoy zombie run? And are you guys looking at that app zombies run or different one?
How far do you run on the non C25K version? I am thinking about trying it, but I'm not sure which one to get.
I think, if I remember correctly, when I set the app up it asked you to enter a time you are comfortable with (I think it was either 30 min or an hour long) so I entered the 30 min one. It basically plays a song from your playlist and then it gives you a mission and zombies usually turn up
Okay, so you it is a timed run and you just go how far you go!
I have this app and love it - but the zombies got me the other day. I do a 3 min run/1 min walk so guess I wasn't running fast enough LOL! so I just started the mission over - it really is a fun app for those practice runs.
I downloaded it, but I haven't tried it yet. How do you time your run/walk intervals?
Update...I did day one of Zombies Run for fun today, since I am easing back into running after an injury. It was fun to do for a change! I didn't do the zombie chase, because I'm not quite ready for sprinting!
