My 10yo daughter and I are leaving on a 4-night cruise on December 12, along with my parents as well. For our day in Nassau, we were looking to go to Atlantis to check out the aquarium and some of the shops while my father did the casino thing. We were not planning on going to the beach there, since we'll be doing that at CC. My questions are as follows:
1. What is the best way to do this - book the Discover Atlantis excursion thru DCL or try and get a taxi and head out on our own?
2. If we go on our own, are there any costs (other than the taxi) to do this? Is there a cost for us to check out the aquariums and shops there?
I don't mind paying for the excursion if that's the only way, but it doesn't make much sense to me for my father to pay for the excursion if the only thing he will do is hit the casino. Any info is greatly appreciated.
