I want to try and make pumpkin patties. I know that pumpkin itself are no calories/no points, but, I need to deep fry them in oil. How do I determine how many points I will be using for the oil while deep frying. Being the oil will be very hot, the patties will only be in the deep fryer for a minute at the most. Does anyone know? I'm awaiting the recipe from a friend, but, if it involves alot of points, I'm not sure it'll be worth making. Thanks in advance...

dg39 - I don't know if this will help, but looked oil up in my WW complete food companion and most oils are 4 points for 1 Tbsp. I'm thinking your going to need more than 1 Tbsp, so it might cost you a lot of points. Naturally Fresh oil and salad oil is 8 points.
    Hope that helps
