We returned yesterday from a fabulous trip, my DD(14)'s dance school performed a 20 min dance set in the fantasyland Festival Stage on Wed night, and then danced and sang in the Mardi Gras pre-parade on thurs evening with 2 other dance schools. It was amazing!:banana:The performance was great and they had a good audience, but for me seeing her coming down main street with all the crowds cheering gave me goose bumps and brought me close to tears!:dance3::dance3:

What a lovely memory for both of you. I'm sure you were very proud of her.

thanks for all your comments, yes it was a dream come true and we were very proud. Being 14 our daughter doesn't smile much apparently its not cool! However on this occasion her face positively glowed!:goodvibes

I know your neice will thoroughly enjoy herself, but you must be so frustrated that you didn't know before you booked - she will just have to go again(because she will definitely want to!)

Thanks for all your lovely comments.

And if any of your daughters or sons (we had 7 boys ranging from 8 to 18 in the dance troupe) get the opportunity to do this I would highly recommend it!:dance3::dance3::cheer2::cheer2:
