Wonder's EBPC 9/12/14 Who's Going With Us!

Do they still do wine packages? or is it better to buy in San Diego and bring it on board ourselves...we only like a couple of glasses with dinner, so not sure which is more cost efficient.
Are there any other 20 somethings going on the cruise?? We'll have a 21 yr old son and 20 yr old daughter with us, would be great if there were some people for them to hang out with.
Our daughter is super excited about there being a pirate night...she's into theatre. Our first cruise we saw the original Pirates of the Carribbean movie on board on opening night...so cool. Anyone know of any movie openings when we are on board?pirate:pirate:pirate:pirate:

Does Disney offer any type of swimming with the dolphins excursion on this cruise? I would love to do this and so would mom. I know we can't book anything until a year from now but I would love input on what the choices for excursions may be.

I signed us up to participate in the FE thing but I've never done this before. Can some of you veterans give me some ideas about what I need to hang off of our fish? What do most of you use that doesn't fall apart when you put something in it?

In Cozumel you can swim with Dolphins at Chankanaab National Park. Book with DCL or take a taxi, alone or with others. It's about 10 minutes from port.

Disney did wine packages on our 2011 Dream cruise; always cheaper to buy wine in port but then you have to carry it!
We saw Enchanted when that first came out and The Help. I love having the new movies in the theatre, slightly older movies by poolside and the classics on the room TV!

Ok, so I just finished reading thru day 7 of a WBPC cruise on the trip report board and I feel kinda dumb. It's been 9 years since I last cruised and I have no idea what a wavephone is. :confused3 Can one of you please clue me in without making me feel to much like a moron? :listen:

From what I'm gathering my friends and I are the younger set. I'm 32, my friend Leannda is 36, and my friend Emily is the baby at 25. She will have a birthday on board. My internal/mental age is a lot younger.

At least he didn't rip a hole in the side and sink her. :thumbsup2

Do these long cruises have things like pirates night? I still have my costume from 04' when Captain Hook tried to escort me off to dinner after we took pictures with him :rolleyes1. My fiancé at the time chased after us going "tick tock, tick tock" and Hook let go of my arm and ran awaypirate:
sounds like fun! They always seems to hit the canal going through...they sold a piece of the canal that that stuck to the ship while passing through at auction in 2005...it went for almost 9K...wild, huh?

There are commercially made ones, or you can be creative, or as simple as a merchandise bag. Just be sure to use a wire tie (zip tie) to secure it to the fish, they have been known to disappear!

Sorry, fellow cruisers, but we decided in favor of the DCL WBTA cruising at the same time. We hope you have a great time on the EBPC2014! Hope to see some of your friendly faces on another cruise.... Jacquie and Joe
Sorry to see you go Jacquie & Joe, I will take you off the who is who list.
Enjoy the WBTA!!!

There are dolphin swims in both Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. The facility in Cabo is within walking distance from the pier where the shuttle boat drops you off. I dont know if they let individuals in when a ship is in port or whetherbthe ship books all the spaces. The one in Puerto Vallarta is located in a water park a short taxi ride away from the dock. They are open to the public on ship days. If you book the one in PV online, there is a discount. Just google dolphin swim in both towns for their websites.

Ok, ok, ok, ok, ok everyone. I made some changes to the first post. I changed the link to our itinerary to a picture of our itinerary. I thought this was better because you don't have to navigate away from the DIS Board. Also, I added the graphics of our cruise onto the first page. There are 4 of them and I added an explanation on how to make copies for your personal use. What do you all think of the changes? Please let me know, if you have any suggestions on how to make that first post better.

Grumble I work tonight. So it'll be a safe day because I will be asleep. I have had 2 hot dogs already and packed my work bag filled with cup of noodle and berries.

Anyone doing anything fun today?

I realized today that I don't need to buy a formal dress for this cruise. I realized it around 0620. My sister is getting married and I'm the maid of honor (fancy...? I realized last weekend I have to be in a lot of pictures. I make demon face in pictures.). She's getting married in June, so I will have a fancy green dress. Yay? Anyone else have a weird realization like that?

I'll just be wearing what I wore on the Bahamas cruise last November. I am soooooo not a formal dress person, so I have a pair of fancy black palazzo pants that I wear with chiffon tops over camisoles. That's as formal as I get! I think the last really formal dress I wore was when my daughter got married in 1998.

They didn't kick me out of the dining room, or cast a disapproving eye, so I guess my attire wasn't too off the mark :-)

See and that's what's so cool about Disney is they're so... mellow (?) about cruise attire. I'm not a formal dress person, but at the same time I live in scrubs or pjs so when I get dressed up I get dressed up. Except for heels. I have size 11 wide foot a bum right knee and now a bum right ankle... I live in flats.

I'm with you....we never go anywhere dressed up, so it's fun for us....but I have a bum LEFT knee and right hip, so it's flats for me too! ;)

I love dressing up on cruises and pretending .....

I plan on wearing the dress that I wore on formal night in 2004. It's a very pretty dress and my sister made the jewelry to go with it. I've only worn it that one time. Only problem is it will have to be taken in :thumbsup2:woohoo:
