    No enough crowns?
I have zero (a step up from -1 after server update #2).
Aren't we supposed to get some crowns during this update?

I suspect the crowns have not been activated fully yet. I posted a question on the Wizard forums (got a rather snippy answer but at least got pointed to the "Support" post that actually discusses the feature). This is the Support post:

"Crowns are the currency in the Wizard 101 microtransaction system.

Crowns are used to purchase items such as treasure cards and clothing in our online store.

You can acquire Crowns by purchasing them through our online store or by signing up for a Premium Subscription. A Premium account comes with a monthly allowance of Crowns automatically."

From the sound of it, this is their version of Gaia currency. If they are developing a card game too, it may be they plan to market in Target, Walmart, etc. eventually as well. Since there is no game store yet or premium subscription, I'd say we'll just have to wait a bit unless they decide to give all beta players a batch to start as a "thank you" for testing.

The following was just added to the Headmaster forum over on the Wizard official board.

"I know many of you have had questions about the crowns you see mentioned by Prospector Zeke.

We don't want to ruin any surprises, so stay tuned for announcements on our Headmaster's Tower message board soon!"

I have to say that any confusion was caused by their own wording in the update thread yesterday morning. This paragraph about crowns was completely removed later:

Recently posted on the main board and just got an in-game announcement about a server restart in ten minutes. I hope they are adding crown and fixing the friends lists.

:rotfl: Well, I was rich, for about 10 minutes. I am down to 400 crowns. :scared1: not enough to buy anything else.

I discovered that I only had crowns to spend in Krokotopia, it still showed a zero crowns in wizard city.

I also discovered that I had to split the 10K between both my characters. Each character did not get 10K. After spending almost all of it with the one, I found I onyl had 2800 left for my other. Only enough to buy a hat. :goodvibes I've already dyed my new clothes for my myth/life character. I was in the process of dying my hat for my fire/ice character when they brought the game down.

Hooray, they have reposted this information, and with more specifics now! Can't wait to get back on again and see if the crowns are there. :)

Can those of you in Mooshu check what the minimum level requirement is for the items there? Any additional pets?

Mooshu items are minimum level 35.
Hats cost 3360, offer +170 health, +3%pips, +3%target, +6%to hit, 8%shield, and one card (elephant, colossus, hydra are choices)

Robes cost 3840, offer +260 health, 4%pip, 3%target, 7%hit, 10%shield, and card (choice of quake, hydra, triton)

edit: missed the boots. cost 2880 +96 health, 3%pips, 3% target, 5% hit (cards hydra, wraith, dryad)

Note: if you try to buy one of each from here, you can't quite afford it. short 80 crowns, sigh

I don't understand your comment about dying though... I thought you have complete control to select your desired color combination upon purchase from Zeke?

So far I've only bought one item because I'm not sure how to split the buying between all of my wizards.
