Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party

Well, put in my request with the Poly IPO for Wishes Cruise on Dec 17th for my birthday, leaving from the Grand after a Narcoosee's dinner. Looking forward to it. Now, just waiting until June to see if I got it!

I booked same day.

There were only about 30 people in the same day area.

I looked at the view from the terrace and defenitity thought the hub area location had a better view. Felt more center and close.
How was the view of Celebrate the Magic show projected on the castle? Were they allowing those with same day reservations to move to the hub in time to watch that show?

You can see CTM from both the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant and the Hub reserved area.

FYI - we were there this past week and (after being sent all over the place by different cast members), I finally was informed by a manager at guest relations that the same day fireworks reservations are no longer being offered. We got there on Tuesday of last week, and there were still a few signs up around MK advertising the event, but I could not find the podium to buy tickets and was eventually sent to guest relations.

We went back to MK on Thursday, and there were no longer any signs up advertising same day tickets (and again no podium). Same thing on Saturday.

It would appear the ship has sailed on the same day Wishes dessert party tickets.

So if you have a same day reservation and want to see both CTM and Wishes from the Hub reserved area, you can, but would you have any time to enjoy the desserts in that case? I'm most interested in a hassle free spot to view CTM and Wishes, but of course would like to enjoy the desserts as well for the money I'd be paying.

Does anyone know if they are assigning seats again or if you have to show up an hour before the party begins to get good seats.

Since they've stopped taking same day reservations for this, I guess the area in the hub that they were using is now "open" for anyone? Or do they still rope some of it off is dessert party-goers want to be there instead?

The desserts are served starting an hour before Wishes begins.
CtM starts 15 min. before Wishes begins.

I think I could be beyond full of desserts in 45 minutes. ;)
