WISH Mods have decided to update our Family album thread hoping that we can get our WISH members to inspire us further with updated pictures.

Use this thread to post a picture of yourself with a little getting to know you info attached!

We can later 'edit' our posts on this thread to include some progress pictures as well as (eventually) our 'after' pictures (when we reach goal).

You will have to post your picture to some sort of a server The DIS now has its own server, or there are many other picture hosting sites. Once you have loaded your picture to a site, right click on your picture and click on "Properties." Copy the http address. In your post click on the IMG button above and paste (the http address). Using the IMG button will attomatically change the http address to an image post.

Hello all! I just joined Wish today. A little bit about me... well I have had a complex that I have thought I was fat my entire life. Even as a young kid. My mother of course never was much help. She always told me it was in my genes to be bigger and that I will always be that way. Now that I am a thousand miles away from her and starting my own life... I'm ready to change how I feel about myself.

I feel like I've been a size 14 forever... I jumped from a 14 in kids to juniors, misses, now women's. Now I only wish I was a size 14. I currently weigh about 210 lbs. I am a size 20 or 18 depending on the store. I would like to weigh about 145 but more important to me then that, I'd like to be a size 8.

My current plan is to make small changes to my lifestyle so I will stick with it. I've been swimming laps at least 4 times a week. I've also been trying to think about my posture throughout the day.

The first photo is of me when I thought I was "fat"... and would like to look like that again. The second is me about a month ago at my going away party (I would never show anyone outside this group this photo of me.)
