Winter Break compared to Christmas ?

Our last two trips have been during the week leading to Christmas, we left on Christmas Eve this year and the crowds were noticably heavier than the previous time we left on the 18th of December. We didn't feel it was too hard to manage the parks as the kids are older and we are able to do some late night magic hours along with some early mornings and afternoon breaks. We had no issues with busses or getting from our resort to another via Disney transportation. So overall we have had great experiences during a busier time.

We are considering next year during our February winter break to avoid pulling High School and Middle schoolers out for more than a few days. It was fine this past trip but as my son gets closer to graduating on leaning toward not pulling from school.
Is is as busy and crazy as the holiday weeks ?? How is the weather usually ?
Has there been any deals or discounts in the past for this time of year ? Oh and when can you typically start quoting prices for 2017?

I'm not sure the exact dates yet for 2017 our break usually begins sometime between the 12th - 15th of Febraury
President's day week is very, very busy. It'll about as crowded as what you experienced in December

Christmas week is busier than President's Week, but both are busy. February weather is a little bit of everything. In a typical week, you'll get a couple days that are "Parent warm" (adults are willing to swim), another couple days that are "Kid warm" (kids will swim but parents won't) and a few that are just plain chilly.

Assuming your school does Presidents' Week as Midwinter Break, 2017 *should* be 2/20-24. Presidents' Day is always the third Monday of February.
