We are planning on going in the summer of 2009 and at the moment, still plan on doing so.....I was thinking that maybe attendance might drop off (so we'll be like the only one's there....:cool1: ) or that maybe some really awesome promotions might come our way...any thoughts?

The economy won't affect any Universal trips for me. ;)

The Disney AP might not get renewed in April but that's about it.

Yes,We decided not to come to HHN this year. The first one we will miss in 10 years. We are more worried about the future of the economy and figured we had better start saving extra money now in case it gets even worse.

I'll still buy AP's.But as far as staying on-site,which we love just as much as the parks, thats gonna have to stop. But we only live 1hr away..

I really think the economy is gonna hit all the parks hard!!!!

Going next week, and am going to have to keep saying to myself, 'Just do it', if we want something, and it pushes us financially...don't have any credit card debt, but will balance our spending out when we return by eating a lot of peanut butter and jelly !

OMG - that is too funny!

We don't have any plans to cut our trip to Disney next year. Now if we lost our jobs or something, then we might have to rethink. As of now we don't really live any differently, but who is to say what the future holds. If things got a little tight, Universal would be the first to go as we would still have Disney AP's to use instead of buying $500 worth of Universal AP's. My daughter will be a senior in HS next year and this trip is really important. It feels like the last summer vacation of her childhood, if you know what I mean.
