Why do I have to call to make some reservation?

    I'm making reservations online, but why does it tell me I have to call to make a reservation for some of the restaurants I.e tusker house? So annoying

    I am trying to make reservations, but any reservation that requires a credit card guarantee tells me to call.

    There has to be a way to book with a credit card on line.

    If you're using the My Disney Experience app you have to call for any reservation that requires a cc because of the security issue.

    When I use the website I can book with a cc online.

    Thank you for replying. When I try online with Firefox on the new website, I get the same message, call. It looks just like the app. I am familiar with that frustration too. :sad2:

    We have been having so many problems with Firefox, I dread trying to make my ressies online. Sorry you are having problems, but glad to know I am not alone.

    Safari doesn't even show my reservations. So that is worse. When I called the CM she told me to use Firefox... and now the screen says to call in.

    When I call in it says, you know you can do all this online.

    I feel your pain. Good luck to you also.

    Have you tried using Chrome? It was working for me earlier today. I was also able to make a credit card reservation using my iPad's version of Safari. The process was the same:
    1. Select the restaurant of interest and search for a table at the day/time of interest.
    2. Click on the desired ADR time
    3. Log into your account
    4. Select the guests accompanying you, then click Next.
    5. Enter your credit card and billing info. Then click on Next.

    Given that you were using Firefox, I doubt you were using a mobile device, but just in case, make sure you aren't seeing the mobile site (it used to be the default when I visited the Disney site using my phone). Overall, the new Disney site does seem a little buggy. Sometimes signing out and back in helps. It also helps (sometimes) to clear cookies, cache, etc. Good luck!
