We've had zoobs around for years! My boys are now 9 & 12 and still get the out periodically and build with them. I've always encouraged building toys, and these are nice because whatever they build ends up being very sturdy with the way these hook together. Of course, after their creations sit around for a few months, I'm always the one who gets to take it apart and store pieces away for a while until the next time they get them out! I don't think anyone else in my household has EVER taken apart a creation of zoobs, legos, k-nex, etc.

"Zoobs" brought back a memory, and I thought I'd share it for fun . . . please don't be offended, it's just in fun. Anyway -- I worked with a homeless program several years ago, and we had a 'large' woman who didn't have any bras. One of our workers took her out to custom order one, and the salesman said she needed a "52-triple Z"!?! We just figured those were some mighty huge "zoobs" she was stuffing in that bra. :lmao:

all of my kids, and even the teen babysitters have loved playing Zoobs. We've had the 500 peice set for at least 8 years now and they still play with them. The instruction book that comes with the set has so many ideas with easy-to-follow instructions on how to make each thing. However it is always Mom who has to take the things apart and put them back in the bucket to be ready for the next one to play with!!

Those look very cool! I just added them to the Christmas list for the kids (without their knowledge, or course!)

Well, I ordered them from www.ohtoy.com
I got the 500 piece set for $69 with free shipping. I found a discount code for an additional 10% off.
Pretty good, considering amazon was $77
Some places had them for almost $100
