I was just thinking has anyone ever met any TV star's and they where really nice and has anyone met any that are not so nice?

My Mate met Clare and Sarah of Hollyoaks and they seemed nice

DD worked for a time at a hotel where a lot of entertainers stayed when in town.
She said that the nicest she encountered was Jim Belushi. :thumbsup2
Ummmm, I think I won't say who the biggest PIA was.....

Raymond Burr.

Nice nice man.

I've not met many.

Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice, etc) was super, super nice. He was good with my son and really funny, too! Love him!

Not exactly TV, but I met the late Minnie Pearl (Sarah Cannon) on two occasions. She was very nice and possessed a down home elegance. The type of person that you hope to become.

I have also talked to Brenda Lee a few times when we have been at the hair salon at the same time and she was easy to talk to and very nice.

Nice: Tyra Banks, Hansen, Any of the Baldwin brothers, Donna Summer

Jerks...HUGE jerks: Chevy Chase, Tommy Mottola

My sister said she met Hank Azaria in a hospital elevator once and he was very nice.

My husband met David Morse, said he was a very nice, down to earth guy. My husband was walking through city hall courtyard when David Morse was taking a break from filming a scene from his last tv show (played a cab driver who solved crimes). He stopped and went over to him, no one stopped him, & introduced himself. Then David introduces himself like he's just some guy. Talked with him a few minutes & my husband said how much we enjoy the show. He said good, hope you keep watching so that show can stay on (said it in a very nice way). Unfortunately it didn't stay on all that long.

I met John Travolta once, very very nice:)

Met LeVar Burton once. Great guy to talk to. He is a childhood idol from his Reading Rainbow days and then of course Star Trek: The Next Generation which I started watching because he was in it.

Met Susan Lucci when I was a CP, such an elegant and gracious woman.

John Stewart very nice. We were in line at Starbucks and wad buying coffee for people in his office. Maggie gillenhall however you spell that. Also nice and also in the coffee line. Paulie from rocky. Bought me a drink very nice. The goo goo dolls. Annoying sobs

new orleans use to host the NATPE convention where the stars would come to sell their shows to syndication. when i was little, we'd go stand outside for autographs.

best: craig t. nelson, regis, oprah (before she was a giant and just starting out), kevin costner. (there are tons more)

worst: julia roberts, james spader. they stick out the most, because i liked them so much.

DH and DD (then 5 yo) met Howard Stern about 20 years ago. He was very gracious and very kind to both of them.

The only TV person I've ever met is Dennis Weaver. He used to call and come in to my office a few times a year. He had such a distinctive voice that it always cracked me up when he'd call me on the telephone. I just remembered him from Gunsmoke and McLeod when I was a kid and it was a little surreal to chit chat with him about his wife and the weather. He was a really nice man.

John Stamos was very nice when I met him. He was in How to Succeed in Business Without Even Trying on Broadway and it was freezing outside that night. We waited outside the stage door for him and his car was waiting, but he signed and took pictures with every single person before he left. The people waiting for him were trying to rush him, but he stayed and gave every person his attention. Class act.

My husband often works with celebrities & athletes, and according to him the most kind, generous, and helpful are: Cher, Jay Leno, David Spade, and Laura Bush.
The very best of the best is Dolly Parton.

The most rude, inconsiderate, and self-absorbed are: Robin Williams, Barry Bonds, and Jennifer Lopez.
The very worst of the worst is Julia Roberts.

Nicest: Guy Fieri (if he can be counted as a star, if not ...) Sean Hayes (j'adore!)
Not nice: Star Jones (very very arrogant and rude)

I met Michael Landon when he was filming the tv movie "Where Pigeons Go to Die" in our city. He was super nice!

Funny I should see this thread tonight since today my dh was telling me about meeting Dick York (the first Darrin on bewitched) and taking his picture (dh was working as a photographer at the time). Dh said he was super nice, friendly, and easy to work with during the session.

:rotfl2: I was posting to this thread to say that Guy Fieri is the only 'star' I've met, and I thought he was rude. He was eating at a restaurant we were at and seemed to go out of his way to talk loudly and get everyone's attention on him. There were no camera or anything, so it's not like he was filming a show. He seemed to be polite to the few people who wanted to take photos with him, but I didn't care for his egotistical 'everyone look at me' attitude.
