Who is planning on being in Disneyland 7/17/2015?

I'll be there bright and early (staying at GCH so not too big of a stretch) to have breakfast at River Belle Terrace, ride a couple '55 rides and people watch, maybe that will also be the night we do the BB F! Dinner, but we'll see. Who else is planning on being there for the actual 60th Anniversary?

You will know me because I wil be the grown woman crying like a baby when she sees Walt's light and the Partners statue! And I will probably be quietly reciting the opening day speech too.

We plan to be there to enjoy the festivities for the kick off. We plan to just play it by ear to see what the day holds.

Unfortunately not me. I was there for the 40th and the 50th. This time I have 2 young kids and from past experience I know enough to know I don't want to deal with the crowds with the kids. We will still hopefully make a trip out this summer to see everything, but we won't be there on the 17th.

We will be! Did not realize that it was the actual day of the anniversary though! Touring Plans shows the crowds at DL to be a 6/10 that day... I'm guessing that will be wrong???

DD and I will be there on the 17th! So excited! Don't have any plans except to enjoy the atmosphere and just to be there!

No way Jose, and we are unanimous about that too. Too hot, crowded, probably too many cranky people. Not pleasant. Maybe in May? Maybe next year, maybe never. Lol

My kids and I will be there the 16th-20th. My friend from Canada that I met at the 30th is hoping to bring her family down so we can have a 30 year reunion.

The 50th was crazy in the morning and until about lunch time, then the parks seemed dead! We planned on taking a break, but took full advantage of the low crowds instead!
