Okay you vets, stand up and be counted!

How many times have you been to WDW using your DVC points?

Separate trips and no cheating by counting the off site trips or cash trips!!!

    5 trips since 97, which I'm quite sure it's not a record. :)

Well, you beat me-only 3 trips-so far! But per year, we're doing better-we've only been members a little over a year.

Since 1994 we've taken 17 trips using DVC points and our 18th is scheduled this November for a Thankgiving family reunion. 14 to WDW; 1 VB; 1 Cruise; 1 New York City and 1 Disneyland/ San Diego Trip. Buying DVC was one of the best things we ever did we have created so many awesome family memories and have many more planned.

We're not vets by any means. Just bought in March of 2001.

But we're taking our 9th trip with DVC points next week.

3 to VWL, 2 to HH, 4 to Big Cedar Lodge (concierge collection).

Trips 10 and 11 are scheduled for Nov (HH) and Jan (VWL).

And buying DVC was also a wonderful purchase for our family. The memories will last a lifetime, the photos fill my albums and bookshelves!

OK, I guess there's a couple of different ways to count this.

In total have made 42 separate trips to a DVC resort. However 5 were to HH and 2 to VB, so that leaves 35 separate 'trips' to WDW.

Outside of the DVC resorts but still using points, have made 1 trip to DL (Grand Californian) and 1 trip to Disneyland Paris. (Thus making 44 trips using points)

Two of the HH trips and both of the VB trips were also in conjunction with a WDW stay. I count them as separate since they were separate checkin's and miles apart.

But no matter how you count them, since purchasing DVC in June 1993, it's been a very 'magical' time for us. (Actually it's been magical since Nov 1971, 1-month after opening when we made our first trip. Gee, at that time I was still 3-years shy of turning 30. Oh to be young again:p . Wait, I am young. That's what Disney does for you.......:bounce:

We lost count, but it has to be close to 20 trips on points over 11 years.

Around 50 times - but I live close so alot of these were 2 or 3 days trip - not my normal 5 days. this also includes friends and family using my points.

We have 21 so far, with #22 and #23 set for Aug and Nov. Since we travel from PA, most trips have been for 7-9 nights. We have had a few 5-6 night long weekends thrown in.

DVC is still the 2nd best thing I have done. 33 years with my DW is still way head in first place.

15 trips since we bought in 95, would have been more but I rented a GV once, I also used my points for a stay at the Sagamore in NY. 2 or 3 trips a year is common for people living as far away as CT, NY, NJ, I would say. I only used my points once on the weekend.

We're in the same boat as spiceycat... We go over a LOT - but it's normally for just 1 or 2 nights at a time...

We've booked 68 reservations since we joined in 1997:

    2 BCV
    3 HH
    6 VWL
    8 BWV
    13 Vero
    29 OKW
    2 Concierge Collections
    2 DCL
    3 "Disney Resorts"

20 of those actually represent stays for friends or family - where we didn't stay, ourselves..

I will ALWAYS be in a "borrowed condition" - but it's SO MUCH FUN!!!

We have spent 44 separate weeks at OKW (and have 3 more reserved). Some were 5-day "weeks", but most recently have been 11 day "weeks".

We have also spent 2 week-long trips at BWV, 2 more at BCV and 1 at VWL.

I've sent my staff members to OKW for thirteen 3-day trips and three 5 day trips over the years.

We have also spent 2 weeks at VB and are now completing our 8th week at HH.

That totals out to 65 trips at WDW resorts and 10 trips to the off-site DVC resorts since 1993.

    Whew! ;)

Gee Doc, Do you have a home or just call DVC your home? That is amazing! You must be great to work for also. I am impressed. :D

I volunteer to join your staff!

We've made about 32 trips on points, mostly to OKW, and including one to DLH. We used to do three 7-day trips per year, but the last few years we've been doing two 12-day trips. Those extra days are great for really relaxing and getting into vacation mode :D
