Totally out of order IMO, they were expensive enough before. Having rented in August due to DW having a bad back I found out how expensive wheelchairs are. Cost me about £80 for the 13 days we rented. Now that would be nearer £100.
How much are they to buy? looks like they get their money back in a 2 week rental.
Don't mind Disney making money out of many things we can live without but wheelchairs:confused3

Wayne, just in case you need one in future (hopefully not), we got one for Norman for the last few days of our holiday. We rang the front desk at SSR and explained that he could'nt walk due to a very painful foot (turned out to be gout) and they provided a wheelchair, free of charge for as long as required. We signed that we would pay costs if stolen or lost and they even delivered it to our door.

Thats good Sharon, didn't know they did that.
A few years back we needed one for DMIL, knew in advance so rented from a local company, delivered and collected from ASMovies, cost about half Disney's price. This time we had no idea til 2 days before we flew, then we were hoping for improvement all holiday, didn't expect to want it so much.
