Hi guys, I have been reading this forum for a while. My husand and I are honeymooning and leaving Saturday! Staying at ASMU. I logged on to see my reservation and it seems as thought they have given us a preferred room but states wheelchair access WITH tub. I have heard that these rooms have no tub with a king bed...please help!! I need a tub!

the only wdw resorts w/both wheelchair access and a tub - are the 1-bedrooms at DVC resorts. the shower is hc so you will have the whirlpool tub.

that say you probably need to ask over on the HC forum
    here a link to it

there are different types of HC rooms at WDW. some are completely hc - with only a shower, other have extra rails to help you and still have a tub.

Some of the king bed rooms are also the handicapped accessible rooms.

Either they are almost booked for that week and you ended up with that reservation or it was an accident.

I would call CRO and explain that you specifically do not want a h.c. accessible room.

HC accessible with tub means there will be the extra handrails in the bathroom. It would state roll in shower if there was no tub.

We just stayed at All Star Sports over Labor Day. We had a king size bed room that was handicapped accessible. WITH a tub. All it had additional were the rails. The bathroom door did slide (not sure if that's with all accessible rooms or not or even with all All Star rooms).
