We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge before our cruise. We have an 8:00am reservation for Chef Mickey's on the day of our cruise departure. What time does the transfer buses usually arrive at the resorts? Will I be ok with this reservation and still get to the bus on time?

The DCL busses pick up at the resorts between 11:30-12:30. Your bags should be ready for pickup (inside your room) by 8:00.

I think the requested checkin time for most resorts is 11:00.

An 8 a.m. reservation should be fine. The buses pick up/drop off the returning cruisers before they start picking up the new passengers. The day before your cruise, you'll receive a sheet of instructions in your hotel room, giving the specifics of what time to have your luggage ready for pick-up, and what time to meet the cruise rep for the transfer bus. When we stayed at the Grand Floridian our luggage was picked up around 8:15 a.m. and we were picked up three hours later. Times vary from cruise to cruise, according to how many passengers the bus is picking up at your hotel, which will also determine how many other stops the bus will make.
