My daughter and I love to do character meals when we have our "girl days" at Disney World. This is what we have done so far:

    Crystal Palace 2X
    Tusker House
    Cinderella's Royal Table
    Akershu's
    Chef Mickey's

For our upcoming trip we have booked 1900 Park Fare and are going to Chef Mickey's again (I'm bringing my Mom so it will be 3 gens of girls).

Are there other great character meals we haven't tried yet? My daughter is terrified of Stitch because of that ride so Ohana is out.
    TIA!

Have you been to Cape May? I don't know who the characters are there. And also, Mickey's Backyard Barbecue I think its called?

I am specifically looking for stuff at resorts because my mom won't have Disney tickets (2 hip surgeries).

Garden Grille at Epcot. It's in a revolving building...family style...very good quality food. Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale are the characters.

No matter when you go there, breakfast or dinner, its great food and great atmosphere! Whether its pooh and friends or Cinderella's step sisters and mom, the characters make your day! Enjoy!!

Garden Grill for sure! The food was really yummy, the characters came by frequently, and we loved looking at the scenery from Living with the Land as the restaurant rotated. This is definitely one we would do again!

Also she would LOVE the Be Our Guest restaurant and so would you. It's just like being in the Beauty and the Beast movie and you get to meet the beast and get your picture taken with him after your meal. The food was delicious and my kids (7 year old girl and 4 year old boy girl twins) absolutely loved it.
