Last time I was at Disney World and I was in MGM, I happened to stumble upon the singin' in the rain umbrella and lamp post.
I had never seen this before, so I was so fascinated by it for some reason. I was like whoa! Out of all these trips how did I miss this?
Is there anything you have found that is new to you?

Here's a pic of me on the umbrella thing:

Hmmm, let me see.

This past Saturday, I discovered FANTASMIC for the first time...and that was REALLY cool.

Not too long ago, I discovered Dole Whip Floats...cool too!

Also, that garden by the Tree of Life in AK...benches and chairs in there, a great place to just chill out.

:)

wow, thats so cool.
I'll have to check that out at animal kingdom.
& I know what you mean.
I saw Fantasmic! for the first time in March.
Its amazing how you can miss things even though you go a lot.
lol.
you're never done exploring I guess.
:cool1:

I have never noticed the Mickey Mouse on the mantle of the fireplace in the Carousel of Progress. . :thumbsup2

Definitely look for 'em.

If you go to EPCOT, and you ride the Maelstrom at Norway...there's a few in the huge mural painting on the wall where you get on the boats to start the ride...... ;)

Was the water working?

We discovered that umbrella a few years back and when my brother's gf came with us one trip he said to stand under there with him and pose for a photo... when we clicked the shutter he pulled the cord and she got soaked! The look on her face was just priceless :teeth:

Last time I found it the water was switched off :sad2:

I had actually heard a rumor about something water related to the umbrella, and maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I honestly think that there was no more water cord or anything.
:sad2:

i know its not that big or a secret but the pathway from toontown to tommarrowland was a big find for us!

A few years back, I discovered a new found respect for Disney birds - does that count? When we were eating at the Tomorrowland Terrace, we found ourselves in the remake of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds! We were literally fighting off dozens of vicious birds dive bombing us for our food.

Seriously though, we just recently discovered the hidden Mickey profile outlining the opening at the top of Splash Mountain's hill. Very Cool!

The first time I took the walking tour of Morocco was when I saw the model house and the art gallery in Morocco. The art gallery is really a hidden gem, well not so hidden, but no one goes there.

Finding disboards has made a gigantic difference for me. What a great discovery!

Very neat! I can identify with you on the birds.
About 4 years ago we were eating a huge pretzel at some outside table in fantasy land and a few birds were on the ground searching for crumbs and everything and they were so adorable. We knew we couldn't finish the pretzel anyway so we gave a lot of it to the birds. It was awesome.
And I did not know about the mickey outline at the top of Splash Mountain. I guess Its another thing I'll have to look for. :)

i discovered disney benches :goodvibes who knew i could sit someplace and it wasnt on a moving vehicle that took me threw a story in disney world!. :rotfl:

Where is the Singin' In the Rain umbrella located at MGM. I have never seen it. Thanks.

Erm...I can't really describe it.
I think if you come out of the lights, motor, action stunt show and stay to your right you will find it. Not sure though. Or if you're walking down that street with the area for Toy Story character photos, it should be just around the corner.
I actually discovered it after I had my picture taken with Buzz Lightyear.
