DUN-DUN-DUN da-DUN da-DUN!

Dark Side Chicken & Waffles! Which, really, was just a pile of chicken nuggets and some waffles. DON'T CARE, GETTIN' MY NERD ON.

The Vader waffles, of course, were delicioso. Although they gave me syrup for them, but no butter, which was kind of a bummer.

The chicken was mildly disappointing, but only because I like honey mustard or ranch for a dipping sauce, and could find neither, so I had to settle for bbq sauce. But the chicken was actually crispy and juicy, so it was okay!

I was on the dining plan and as such, my meal came with a dessert. So OF COURSE I stuck with the theme, and chose the Chocolate Peanut Butter Darth Vader Cupcake! I'm not usually a chocolate cake kind of person, but this was SUPER delicious! The peanut butter frosting was absolutely to die for.

Oh, and my beverage was an Angry Orchard Hard Cider. Because Darth Vader is a pretty angry dude. And also... #vacationlush

All in all, this actually turned out to be one of my favorite quick-service meals of the whole trip!

Looks like a great lunch at backlot. My star wars gang would totally be all over that. Though weird they didn't have sauces for the nuggets or at least some hot sauce, cause what is chicken and waffles without tabasco.

My DD and DH share the love of Star Wars. I have shared your review with them and we have added to our plan for May since this will be the first time we have used DDP instead of DxDP

How we missed out on having any Darth Vader related food items is beyond me, given my SW obsessed crew! That cupcake looks awesome. Next time.....

Also, excellent beverage choice. I became slightly obsessed with hard ciders during our October trip

Delicious, that's what! Hot sauce, blech! They actually might have some there, but I have no idea since I most definitely wasn't looking for any. Sorry!

I'm so glad to hear it! I was on the DxDP on this trip myself, but there were a few Quick Service meals that I didn't mind dropping a credit on, like this one!

I got into hard cider waaaay back in college, actually. Hornsby's Hard Cider was my beverage of choice at BYOB parties. I still greatly prefer it to beer, so I was stoked to see it as an option at this place.

Mmmmm, love it when the chicken is nice and tender and moist. Drink choice - spot on!

Yes, I'm pretty picky about chicken nuggets/tenders, but these were good! I was a happy girl!

Looks like a perfect lunch! I'm all about the hard cider, yum! That cupcake sounds delish. I'm always amazed ar how huge the cupcakes are. But no ranch or honey mustard??? Bummer!

Don't much care for the Star Wars theme, but looks like a good and solid lunch. Especially that cupcake. You can never go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter

It really was a pretty perfect lunch. I hope this all stays on the menu for a long long time!

Jealous! I won't get to come back here on my next trip because i'm traveling with family and they want to do a different quick service for lunch, so it'll be a few years before I make it back for this meal again. Shame, because it was super delicious!

Hooray! I finished dealing with my PhotoPass pics last night too, so I think I'm going to do another update over on the old TR tonight. We better get to work!

OK I am finally caught up! Although I have seen a lot of what you did/ate on FB already so I don't think I have too much to catch up on!
Texas de Brazil looks great! We have that in NYC as well as my personal favorite, Fogo de Chao, it's also a chain so if you're ever near one...just go!
I shoulda gotten those dark side chicken n waffles instead of that disappointing salad earlier this year. If we ever eat quick service at DHS again that will be an option.
It would be even more awesome if BB-8 fit into a cup holder, like in a car or the movies. Because that would be the ultimate drink carrier.

Regardless, I may have to make a trip to HS for a Darth Vader cupcake. I'm not usually a chocolate cake fan, but if you pair it with peanut butter I'm all in! Looks delicious - and I probably didn't need to know they have Angry Orchard cider...so yummy!
